Welcome to Lunch Break Leadership Episode 005. In this episode we will talk about writing things down and why it’s important! I have made many references to this method of organizing your tasks and keeping track of your results in previous episodes. So let’s jump right in!

Main Idea & Content🎤

Anyone can benefit from writing things down, however the more responsibilities you have and the more employees you are managing the more you will want to utilize this skill. I call it a skill because it is something that is learned, most people are not naturally inclined to keep notes or a journal of some kind. Most believe they can retain and remember things without taking the time to write it down. This is not a chance I would suggest taking, especially early on in your leadership career. You will have so many tasks and items being thrown your way it will be impossible to capture them all in your memory.
