🗣In this episode, Catherine will talk to us about her past and her passion for History.

🇫🇷Catherine was born in Alsace, in the East of France. Upon graduation, she moved to Strasbourg to study law, where she gradually grew a passion for social and political sciences.

Catherine then left for Paris and pursued her education in La Sorbonne University and fell in love with the French Capital, to the point that she now calls the metropolis her “adopted city.” 💕

🎨Even though Paris may be considered by many as the City of Love, Catherine assimilates the French Capital as a living museum, a place where history merges with the present, a setting where long-lost poets have engraved their arts in urban stones, and a venue where the artwork is naturally displayed on each street corner.

In 2016, Catherine obtained her master's degree in intellectual Property &  Information Technology, and devoted herself to her passion for classical music, nature and history. During her free time, Catherine also likes to volunteer for various organizations, especially the ones assisting the elderly.

👩🏻‍⚖️👩‍🔧Today, Catherine and I mainly discussed her Facebook group created In 2008 and called “Histoire & Anecdotes Croustillantes," or “History and Nosy Little Stories,” in English.

12 years later, Catherine's group counts more than 240,000 members, with new history fans joining each day from all around the globe! Her posts are fun to read, thoughtful, instructive and factual; they are accompanied by images, artwork and fun facts, and they always welcome respectful comments, questions and suggestions.

What a commitment, Catherine! You found a perfect way to communicate your passion with the world, while also healing, comforting and helping the people in need.
