In an effort to determine if someone like me (white, over 50, and not famous), could produce a widely consumable podcast product. I came away possibly with more questions than answers. Namely, these 2 guys are thoroughly not entertaining and completely not engaging. 2 middle aged white male Canucks talking about a different Asian snack and beverage each podcast… oh and they both embody the worst personality trait imaginable - being humorless and mind-numbingly boring, but thinking you’re the opposite. At first I thought the podcast concept was mundane outright, but I now think the concept probably has legs, unless you give it to the Duke and Earl of Trite and Uninteresting, my new nickname for this podcast. Ironically they name this episode the The 2nd 1st Middle Aged Man Talk Podcast Ever, because they thought their initial attempt was really bad… if I were the CIA, I’d acquire it and use it as a can’t-miss technique with which to torture uncooperative enemies of the US.
