Louis Pulzone grew up on a farm in Kroonstad and spent his youth in the hostel at an agricultural school. The now successful entrepreneur's story is a familiar one for those who have bootstrapped their way to success: a business degree through correspondence (Unisa), the creation of his own business as a result of desperation rather than inspiration, a realisation that the New South Africa requires different thinking, and the building a company that's successful enough to become a sponsor of the Blue Bulls rugby team.
One of three brothers, Pulzone has some very definite ideas about education and role models. And how he intends being part of South Africa's solution, rather than being an obstacle to its growth. He is looking forward to sharing a chilly night under the stars on July 11 with members of his transformed executive team.
