We're back with a whole new episode of NTR!
Presented by PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives).
Host Nav Nanwa returns to 'theorize' on all things Arts and Pop Culture. First, he welcomes singer/songwriter Witch Prophet. Her latest album D.N.A. Activation had been shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize this year. She’s been described as Erykah Badu meets Lauryn Hill meets Jill Scott, and we go into detail about her amazing record, what it means to be free, and the significance behind her new video 'Tesfay'.
And then we welcome Mississauga visual artists Breanne Jeethan and Karim Machado-Aman, both of which were recently selected to be apart of the Visual Art Mississauga Creative Residency program. The program is focused on mentorship and professional development for emerging artists. Both Breanne and Karim share their thoughts on this honour, and how visual artists are finding inspiration during these interesting times.

Don't miss ‘When Night Stirred At Sea’ which is in partnership with Caribbean Art Fair, The Black Artist Network in Dialogue (BAND) and guest curators Karen Carter and Greg Manuel, which begins virtually on Thursday October 29th.
This exhibition brings together works by several English Caribbean artists to reflect on the breadth of contemporary aesthetic practices within the broader Caribbean community.
