Why we still need to talk about ambitious women having it all?

 

I am very excited to have an incredible woman on the show who I met last year.  We got talking and well lets just say we didn't stop. 

So many shared passions around career progression, gender and the intersectionality's that come with being a woman in work. 

Roxann Dawson is a Business Assurance Director and influential senior leader who has a proven track record of developing and deploying business strategy and leadership for quality and business improvement within complex infrastructure organisations.

She has a wealth of experience in Rail, Construction, London Underground, Safety and Supply Chain industries.  As well as thriving in a male dominated industries, she is passionate about inclusion and advocates the importance of ‘levelling the playing field’ for all parties.

Roxann believes investment through volunteering is a key building block to making a difference and building a strong network. Roxann is a board trustee and chair of governance risk committee for the Chartered Quality Institute and as a parent is also a diversity and inclusion governor at her local secondary school, keen to use the power of her voice, time and expertise to support others."

Listen in because today we are talking about ‘having it all’ when ambitious women don't want to have choose between their career and family yet so often feel like they have to.
