Your morning is an important part of your self care routine. How you start your day will determine whether you will feel centred, intentional, and focussed or whether you feel stressed, on high alert, and oblivious of the things that are important to you.

You can end up missing out on noticing and enjoying

Your child’s smile

The smell of tea/coffee

Giving or receiving a hug from a loved one

The smell of flowers on your morning run


By incorporating mindful practices in the morning we can avoid this shift to autopilot mode and find ways to ground ourselves, pay attention to the moment and find ways to savour moments of joy that are already present in your morning. 

Remember, your mornings are a blank slate and it is up to you to fill it in with what works for you!
