In Episode 01 Blaire and Holliston sit down with Rob Cardinal and Dr. Phil Langill to discuss relative motion, celestial motion, and interconnectedness with the universe.

Rob Cardinal (Kakatos’ina) is Blackfoot from Siksika First Nation. He is an astrophysicist and currently working as Science Advisor, Siksika Board of Education. Rob is the founder of First Light Initiative and co-founder of IndigeSTEAM, and serves as both an advisor and youth mentor for the Power to Choose summer camps.

Dr. Phil Langill teaches physics and astrophysics at the University of Calgary and is the Director of the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory. When he’s not looking up he enjoys the out of doors.
