Join guest host Becky Sponholtz of Florida Agriculture in the Classroom to learn more about horticulture!

In this episode, you’ll hear from Austin Spivey of Cherry Lake Tree Farm, who works with a team to provide Florida with trees and bushes best suited to ornamental use in the southeastern United States.

You’ll also hear from John Martinez, a teacher from Orlando, who has worked with a team of teachers to provide their students with hands-on learning through Eco Club.

Through these interviews, we hope you’ll learn a little more about ornamental horticulture and how gardening can be incorporated into school subjects like science and math. Listen in to learn more!
