The final chapter and the last ever pisscast. It’s been real....
What a yawnfest. But, I’m going to finish reading this book until I’m the last man standing and, with this boreathon, this might be the clincher.
Most of this podcast is taken up with reading from the book- unlike most of these podcasts...
I’m back! But...the book isn’t. I just ramble on for 45 minutes instead, which is a bit better than listening to a badly written denouement...I’ll get round to it next time.
In a less than triumphant return, we establish a new form of communication for this new world order. Same shitty book though.
Susan and Frido part 2. Not as good as I made it out to be....by a country mile.
A rather damp squib after such a long wait...but this episode has gone through several iterations and subsequent deletions...namely because I don’t want others thinking I’m a total sociopath... Probably too late for that....
In between the chaos lies sadness. Post podcast note: I was thinking of “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love To Town” not “Lucille”. More evidence of increasing dementia.
On the road again...Nothing is right about this episode: not the writing, not the delivery and not the person who’s doing the podcast.
Probably the darkest bit of the book. Not much to laugh at and frankly, you’ll need a strong stomach to get to the end of this one. As usual, apologies to the world. Why am I doing this?
A relatively short one where William returns and I try out various impressions in a futile attempt to make the scrag-end of Chapter 2 interesting. No “explicit” this time, as I cut off the recording just before the word “c***”.
Although Susan doesn’t appear....Young f*** takes us back to 1948 Bridgend where we meet a young German POW who is mysteriously connected to our modern day “hero” William in some mysteriously mysterious mystery.
Part 4....still on chapter 2, and it’s grisly...
A slightly longer episode as I put my hand in my pocket and paid up so that at least chapter one is in the bag! Enjoy the mumbling snark on the poor writing!
Introducing a novel I wrote about 14 years ago and am now snidely reading out using technology I barely understand. Not great quality, but bear with me, I’ll try to do better. Herein, I introduce and read out the first few pages. Hope you en
