Hey everyone, today is Sunday April 23rd and that means it is time for Sunday Funday! Every Sunday I talk about a new podcast or a podcast I highly recommend for you to check out!

This week I have a great tech podcast called AppStories. It is by Federico Viticci and John Voorhees, both work at Macstories.com, Federico is actually the founder of the blog.

The show dives deep into apps both new and old where they reflect on apps that affected their lives and work and what apps that are new or up-and-coming that have fought their attention.

I have been a big fan of Viticci since I first started listening to Connected a show on the Relay FM podcast network and that was where I first heard about MacStories and I just immersed myself in his work because I really like what he has done.

Now, John Voorhees is another story. Not to put John down I just never knew him except for his articles on Macstories. I know he podcasted prior to AppStories but I don't believe I ever really listened to his show Ruminate because it didn't really captivate me.

With that said I am not going to look back at that show because I really like John's voice and insight in AppStories and if he is managing to use that same voice in other shows I feel like I am losing out if I don't give him a shot.

The show is fantastic for Apple fans and just iOS fans in general. It isn't specific to Apple per-say but it is heavily inclined that 2 guys from Macstories.net who host a podcast is going to be focused mainly around Apple products and the Apple App Store.

In episode 1 they talk about two apps, one per person, that really changed their lives as far as workflow and using apps. John picked Instapaper, And Federico chose Twitterific. They both reflected and looked back on what these two apps meant to them and what it means to them now. Without going into too much detail all I can say is that the passion is there, the knowledge is there, and the insight and entertainment is there.

Episode 2, and the regular schedule with this episode, comes out tomorrow, Monday April 24th o if you have time to listen to it today and catch up I highly recommend it. Or even if you want to sit and binge listen to the show I can only imagine what these two have in store for us in future episodes.

If you want to give it a listen I have a link in the description of this podcast or you can find it over at thepodcastbrief.com

Anyway that is all I have for you all today, I will have more news tomorrow. until then though, my name is Jeff Perry and this has been The Podcast Brief
