Facebook Live Audio is here, but not for everyone.

Several months ago you might have heard that Facebook is going to be pushing out another Live streaming option that is just audio. It was appropriately called Facebook Live Audio, original right?

Well it looks like some people have managed to have it on their page, and they have been using it.

From what I have seen it looks like you can choose a photo, whether it be your profile photo, or an image on your device, and that is the video portion of your live feed, and you stream just your audio that plays with that image on screen.

For anyone interested I have a video of what it looks like thanks to Podtopod.com.

So if you are interested in going live on Facebook but not want to share your face this seems to be a nice option.

But the catch here is that it is not available to everyone just yet. As a lot of what Facebook does nowadays, it seems like only a select few are getting access to it in it’s early stages. So you may have to wait, and I am in the same boat,, but I will be checking very frequently for this and as soon as I do have access to it I will be going live. Until then though we are just going to have to play the waiting game.
