It's amazing going back to this world 20 years after the events of the original games. What the group has cooked up is really neat. Love the anime feel to it.

A Blast to the PastThis podcast took me back to some of those good old Red/Blue/Yellow days! The cast and DM have a lot of fun learning this new system along with the listeners and you can tell they are getting the feel for it but they pick it up pretty quick. The combination of nostalgia and that good anime feeling they capture with the podcast, really make this show shine. What I really like is that the pace itself is a good one, not too fast that you are missing details but not meandering around the same town for too long to have you lose interest. The DM does a good job with keeping the story marching and you can tell that communication is key with this cast as they work through the rules and come to common agreements to make their game better for all of them. If you're in the mood for a fun, quick paced show with the pokemon and characters that you love, be sure to check these folks out!!
