Just in time for Mental Health Week, we’re thrilled to be featuring an organisation that is setting off a chain reaction to send waves of good throughout our communities.

Causeway is a not-for-profit agency that helps people with mental illness and other challenges find meaningful rewarding work and live more independently. They have been active in the Ottawa area since 1977. 

Today we are chatting with the Executive Director of Causeway, Hailey Hechtman, about giving back to the community, pivoting to serve clients in a pandemic world, and how she went through a personal wellness journey that allowed her to truly serve her community from a place of compassion and authenticity.
