Trying and not getting it right, or even failing does not make us failures. It means we may have to try again a few times, or adjust something - like our thinking - or it just means this particular thing is not for us.
Self talk and getting reassurance from others are sure fire ways to help us keep going, follow the goal we have. Not allowing our lazy brains that likes the easier way, to keep us from doing what we want.
Whether you are a person that can jump out of your box and get to it, or someone that dangles your toes first remind yourself that you got this!! You can do it, and/or learn from it.
FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real There is a book out there about this. We have not read it but it is by Brittney Carr.
Affirmations are great ways to train our brains. Sticky notes, just repeating it in our minds, recalling the accomplishments and giving ourselves a damn pat on the back now and again!! :)
