Josh Horwitz Joshua Horwitz, J.D. is a lawyer and advocate who has spent nearly three decades working on gun violence prevention issues. Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. He is also a visiting scholar at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where he teaches public health advocacy.Horwitz is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post. His first book, “Guns, Democracy and the Insurrectionist Idea,” was published in 2009.
