Refashioners, today Viktoria Kanar and Rebecca Mendel, owners of Bottom Line Consulting, announce the launch of Tel Aviv’s first Accelerator Program for Fashion Tech startups on the Refashion Podcast! Investors, entrepreneurs and music moguls like Will.I.Am are traveling to Israel to invest specifically in the talent and technology innovation coming out of Israel. Vika and Rebecca specialize in investor relations and international partnerships, specifically in Fashion Tech, and also run the only Fashion Tech meetup group in all of Israel.

Global retailers will be able to come to Tel Aviv and cherry pick technologies to implement into their businesses.

Success Strategy

Vika and Rebecca are launching the very first Fashion Tech Accelerator Program that will also serve as Tel Aviv’s first Fashion Tech R&D Center. The length of the program will be between four to five months with the goal of supporting five to six local startups with two of them being international companies.

What’s Next for Business

  • The application process for the Accelerator Program will being in a month
  • Fashion Tech on the Runway Fashion Show during Tel Aviv’s Innovation Festival this September

Examples of Israel Fashion Tech

  1. WiShi – An acronym for “Wear It, Share It,” WiShi is an online crowdstyling engine that TechCrunch named a startup to watch and the first fashion tech company to receive funding from an Israeli investor.
  2. Awear Solutions an application and unique patent-pending modules enabling users to precisely identify exactly what someone is wearing from up to 30 feet away. *The recording explaining Awear was not the highest quality so we chose to share their teaser video.
