Jennie Wong takes us on a trip inside your customer’s mind

Hi Refashioners, we’re back for another episode. This time on a trip through the subconscious + a cool freebie!

Saying that makes me think of Miss. Frizzle. Do you guys remember The Magic School Bus? Well, you can think of this episode as your ticket into the mind of your customers. Maybe not on a school bus, but with me and Jennie over a few glasses of wine. If you haven’t already noticed, I’m super interested in personal development, behavioral hacks and supercharging your efforts for maximum return. I suppose you are too since you’re reading and listening to my blog & podcast. Woo hoo, you guys inspire me daily. So, whether you’re a retailer or not, you’re going to want to listen in – there’s a lot of interesting information on cognition and decision science that will have you looking at problem solving in a new light. Well, that’s the hope. Let me know!

So without further ado, I want to introduce you all to Jennie Wong, CEO and co-founder of Shopping Quizzes. Jennie’s a warm, well connected super mom who’s also a cognitive psychologist and Ph.D. She’s also the author of the ebook, 7 Ways to Hack the Mind of the Online Shopper and is giving all of us a free copy! (link below). You can page through, or just sit back and listen as she takes us through the shopper’s mind and the principles that lead to increased conversions and customer loyalty.

On a personal level, we chat about the importance of seizing the moment – no more should of, could of would ofs – positive thinking and how she breaks away! I also want to shine light on the type of woman Jennie is. After we were through recording, Jennie stuck around the studio and chatted with me for about an hour about life. Like real deal, woman to woman life talk. Secretly, I wish we were still recording, but hey, the perspective she offered will undoubtedly spill out in future episodes for all of you to hear. She’s such a genuine person and deeply cares about connecting with people and helping others connect with themselves. It’s no wonder her business serves that very need.
