Respect the Crit, currently running a SW campaign, is a masterpiece of a podcast for anyone that appreciates actual play in it's purest, theatrical sense. The two performers are exceptional, they play their characters in ways that only the best RPG players can match. On top of this the sound design and editing are crisp and well executed. And the story hits home too, I won't hide that I found myself moved to tears at times, such is the skill of the narrator in conjunction with the performers. Ian, in the hope that you will read this, I think you are an incredibly talented editor. I also listen to "Campaign: Skyjacks", a show that you surely know since it's trough one of their ads that I found out about your podcast. The incredible thing is that, despite their budget surely being much superior than yours, your editing and episodes are, in my opinion, of an even higher quality. Keep doing what you're doing because this podcast is my favourite actual play and I don't want to stop listening any time soon!

I found Respect the Crit when I was looking for a Modiphius Fallout actual play podcast to listen to on my commute, and their Fallout: Evergreen campaign stands out as one of the best-written, best-edited, and most engaging Fallout 2d20 campaigns out there by far. The production quality is unbelievable, and you can really tell the passion that goes into this show. I recently came back and started listening to their earlier Star Wars EOTE campaign, and it is just as good. The quality put out by this small group of talented storytellers is astonishing. The pacing is excellent — the stakes are always high, I’m always invested, and there hasn’t been a single episode that felt like filler — but it still feels just like friends getting together to play a game and have fun. To Ian and the gang: thanks for keeping me on my toes while I’m washing dishes or taking the bus, and I can’t wait to listen to whatever you get up to next:)
