Adar, the rogue Elf who is commanding an army of Orcs in the Southern Lands, was first introduced to us in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. A tidal wave devastating Numenor is seen by Miriel, who at first resisted aiding Galadriel.

Miriel accepts to assist Galadriel in the fight against the Orcs in the Southlands, taking the dream to be a prophecy. So prepare yourself for Episode 5, when courageous Men (and Elves) will set sail for distant shores to stop the Orcs from growing more powerful.

Elrond extends an invitation to Durin to visit Lindon while he is still oblivious of Galadriel's previous exploits. When it comes to Mithril, a recently discovered element that is even more valuable than gold, Durin already lied to Elrond. Now that the future Dwarven king believes Elrond is also concealing something, King Durin invites his son to travel to Lindon to learn the true motivations of the Elves.

We are aware that Elrond isn't up to anything sinister and that the only reason he asked Durin was because of their friendship with the Prince. However, we still don't know Celebrimbor's exact motivations, the elf who dispatched Elrond to ask the Dwarves for assistance. Elrond's friendship with Durin may suffer if Celebrimbor is concealing something. Since there are only four episodes left in the first season, perhaps Celebrimbor will provide some clarification in Episode 5.
