What does it mean to set healthy boundaries with people? It means that you don't let people who make you feel unsafe, insecure, abused, or neglected get close enough to you to hurt you anymore. If a verbally abusive sibling makes you feel bad, you can back off your communication with them as far and as infrequently as you choose, so that they can't hurt you anymore. You can set healthy boundaries with your own behaviors as well. If having a credit card in your wallet is too tempting and you overspend, then you can keep that card in your dresser so you don't feel tempted. The list goes on. Thanks for listening!
