Shoot the Dancing Bear!

A Society, Culture and Philosophy podcast
 1 person rated this podcast
Three disparate men converge for a strange discussion of pop culture and politics. Our hosts include a psychonaut therapist with an aim to explore the healing benefits of drugs, an anarchist philosophy professor equally influenced by Marx and prison, and an English teacher terrified by the universe but energized by marginalized literature and media alike. Topics will cover the range from popular to degraded culture.

True Detective is back, and so are we. Step outside time and space into a conversation about the show's thematic material as we discuss what we like so much about it, (and a little of why season 2 failed). No politics on this episode, even though we said we would.

"Distinguishes itself from the tired 3 friends talking genre of podcasts by the unique backgrounds and knowledge of the hosts. They need to tighten up their pacing though."
