Being an entrepreneur is hard. It’s harder still with mobile bars or any food/beverage service. But like most newbies in this world, some of y’all are putting the wrong thing first.
Putting the cart before the horse is not the smart way to start your business. Going tens of thousands of dollars in debt for a Pinterest worthy trailer is not going to build a solid foundation for your business. In fact, it’s more likely to run you into the ground. I’m not saying it’s not possible to be successful in this way, but it’s rare. Even the ones like me, who got a trailer for super cheap and did it themselves, they’ll tell you, get a portable bar, use venue bars to start out.
Sure that means you’re a mobile bartender vs a mobile bar but if I had to do it all over again that’s the way I would start.
Take the appropriate steps to build a foundation your business can sit on for the long term vs just having a pretty bar. I’ll walk you through those steps in this episode and I’m always here for additional guidance through mentoring and coaching (information below).
I say this with love, even if it’s hard to hear.
