The Opinion Thing:

Today we are talking about Opinions! And no, we’re not just talking about “everyone has one”. Today we are going into what to do with other people’s opinion or you projecting your opinion out. No matter what someone’s opinion is of you, that is a direct reflection of an insecurity they have of how they think something or someone should be. That doesn’t make their opinion right and doesn’t make your opinion right. Just like we talked about before thoughts are not right or wrong, it is what ever you think it is. If you are allowing other peoples opinion to change how you live your life, then you are willingly handing over your power to an outside source.

Other peoples opinion of you can only effect you if it is hitting a weak spot, when you heal that weak spot there is nothing they can hurt. If you are living your life for other people’s validation you are putting your happiness into other peoples hands. When you get quiet, and only paying attention to YOUR internal voice you can not hear the positive or negative coming in. When you start to heal yourself and the spots that hurt when people poke them, there is nothing for them to poke. Bruises heal, but its up to heal yourself.
