I caught up to @sinkholepodcast on the day the finale dropped! It’s fresh, it’s self aware, it has existential dread in it- truly a great first season. So excited to see where this show is going.
After only 2 short episodes I am *deeply* invested in whateverthefuck is going on in this podcast. Creepy and strangely timely. I 100% recommend it for your listening needs.
This is a show that creeps up on you very slowly, while telling you it's GOING to creep up on you, but somehow you're still surprised when it does. Absolutely expert use of pacing and details revealed in passing to create both a character and setting you care deeply about, even though every episode changes your fundamental understanding of both.
Also, it's really funny.
To sum up: SINKHOLE is a cyberpunk-adjacent, SciFi-but-not-entirely, speculative future show for the terminally online. And there's a hole that yells.
Very worth listening to.
