The Honchos unloaded their 40th episode tonight with another epic performance. After the usual small talk and banter, like their Matrix and John Wick mashup idea, the show started for real with the worst idea ever for a Halloween costume and some unwanted ingredients in a Bolivian fast food hamburger.

The sack of sports opened with some NCAA football talk. There was a recap of the week 3 action, a look at the lack of any truly dominant team this season, and the Honchos developed a man crush on the Presbyterian Blue Hose and the mighty Pioneer League.

The NBA/NHL/MLB segment included the John Wall trade, Ben Simmons wanting out of Philly, the out of control player movement killing the NBA, Covid vaccine requirements for the MLB postseason, and a deep dive on the issue of whether or not it is unfair for a 100 win team to have to play in the one-game NL wild card game.

The Honchos took a look at the action from last week's NFL games in the NFL Recap segment, and went in depth on the Ravens thrilling win over the Chiefs as well as Rob's worrisome affection for one Kirk Cousins. There was also a look ahead at the upcoming schedule of games.

The 40th episode ended the way the previous 39 ended - with the Dope of the Week. This week's winner was Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers.
