Mindfulness gives us opportunity to realise the full potential of our mind. The blue sky awareness metaphor is a extremely helpful reminder of how our minds work on a moment to moment basis. When we train the mind for awareness, we firstly have to have the courage to let go our judgements and labels to experience the freshness and stillness in the now. We can learn to always remember that no matter how difficult or cloudy the mind will feel, the blue sky is always there with us.
