The beating heart of our faith is the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The beating heart of our faith is the gospel—Jesus’ forgiveness, a canceling of our debts because of his love. And this isn’t just a story for other people; it’s also God’s story with you. It’s what empowers us to follow his teaching and to live and love like Jesus. Through the gospel, we can be reminded of the reason we gather together to worship God: to then share that love with others. To spread the good news of God every day.
