This week Nick and Simon review season one in advance of the September return of SUPfm series two.

This episode is sponsored by the National Watersports Festival 2015.

Every year the UK resort of Hayling Island is given over to a weekend of SUP, windsurf and kite surfing. It’s a time for racing, fun events and partying by the sea.

This year SUP takes it’s place squarely and firmly alongside it’s older sporting cousins, with a number of new events and all the top brands displaying their 2016 range for three days of serious stand up paddle action. Click here for more information

Nick and Simon review the episodes and guests who appeared in the first season of SUPfm.

We start the review with Dave from Roatan Watersports in Honduras who  discussed hammock technique.

Tati Coco SUP is an explorer and teacher with a SUP enthusiasm which is hugely infectious.

Susanne Lier is an european racer, coach, SUP entrepreneur and tells it how it is.

Chase Kosterlitz talks about life in the train and the reality of being a top SUP athlete

Anthony Heukmes spills the beans about SUP Trotters the stand up paddle equivalent of map my run

Tez Plavenieks talks about stand up paddle board selection

Please vote Charlie Howden for Expedition of the year here. This interview episode was the inspirational highlight of our first season. Here

Spike Reid discovered stand up paddle boards while filming in Martinique but is now championing SUP adventures in your own back yard.

John Hibbard is a leading light in worldwide SUP through his leading role for Red Paddle Co. Here he talks to us about innovation.

Franz Orsi, Italian photographer was on the second stage of his worldwide SUP trip with Bart De Zwart when he was caught up in the appalling Nepal earthquake.

Sarah Tiefenthaler, L.A. based business owner of SUP AQUA Sarah is a survivor in more than just one sense.

Adam Champagne talks about the process of making Stand Up Journal into the biggest worldwide SUP website.

Kai Lenny…our celebrity highlight, there aren’t many bigger personalities in the SUP world today.

We were delighted to get Jodelle Fitzwater’s perspective on stand up paddle along with some useful recipes to fuel a long day on the board.

We loved the first season and have some great guests lined up for season two.

If there is anyone out there that you’d love to hear from or you want any topics covered then let us know…

…in the meantime…we’ll see you on the water!!
