With more than 20 years of experience in business leadership, Fungai is a Nurse and a  Great British entrepreneur award winner, a STEM ambassador and an Angel Investor. Through this experience, she has learnt to be resilient, strong and realised that the best business lessons are learnt through failures. That's how her passion for technology and creative solutions were born. 

 Her most recent venture won an opportunity to be funded by Innovate UK. Realising the challenges faced with shortages of doctors and the impact of COVID 19 on chronic patients, especially the racially diverse group. This helped marginalised patients receive free health monitoring devices and clinical service through CheckUp Health, a tele-health platform and app.
