inside the toolbox, playing the greatest rock and roll to sooth his soul.

So smoke a bowl and get out on the highway.

2:38

Why is there such a great divide in our nation?

2:41

I blamed the karate kid left side, safe.

2:43

Right-side safe middle of the road, squash, just like bug I can wax on forever, but I only got 23 seconds for this diatribe in the middle of the road.

2:52

He may not be safe, but it's certainly saying on the toolbox.

2:54

from

2:54

Carolla

2:54

one

2:54

studios

2:54

in

2:54

Glendale,

3:31

California. This is the Adam Carolla show with Gina grad on news, bald Bryan on sound effects and a spirited round to the rotten tomatoes game.

3:41

And now unimpressed with the Mars footage.

3:44

It looks just like his childhood lawn.

3:47

Adam

3:50

Corolla. Yeah. Get it on that to get it on it.

3:54

Joyce began the mandate. You get it on.

3:56

Thanks for tuning in.

3:58

Thanks for telling a friend. We'd love that about you, right?

4:01

Gina grad, Right?

4:03

Handball. Brian play some games.

4:06

Oh yeah.

4:07

Brian took the last, the rotten tomatoes game off and Gina and I still lost.

4:15

Take it off. Not fair though.

4:17

You guys get it when it has an asterisk, Adam Ray went last.

4:22

He got, he went between us.

4:28

Understand. All right.

4:30

So sanction the game going again.

4:33

We got that to get to, or max Patta did a, some top-notch produce my God.

4:40

That's producing, man.

4:41

He found this a woman on Reddit who had befriended crows and they defended her and attacked, you know, she had her own murder of attack crows.

4:51

So we're going to speak to her about how that worked coming up.

4:57

I did a little fine art over the weekend and I got the teacher's unions all hacked off at me.

5:07

Now here's the deal.

5:09

First things first.

5:11

I don't give a fuck about the teacher's union.

5:13

Like, Oh, Adam's worried about the teacher's union.

5:16

I didn't like fucking teachers when I was in school.

5:19

As I've said it was me. It was mutual.

5:22

Yeah. It's it's, it's a pretty simple equation.

5:24

Get an auditorium full of a thousand people ask everyone, raise your hand.

5:28

If you had a teacher that changed your life, everyone's hand will go up and then ask them if you had two teachers that ever, ever shaped your life, and most of the hands will go down.

5:37

And by the time you get to four teachers, they're all down.

5:40

So, okay. Heroes.

5:42

I had three good teachers out of 128 teachers.

5:46

All right.

5:47

So number one, this thing where it's like, well, we have to have this reverence for what people that tapped out of life, who didn't want to join society, who went Into

5:58

it, the last bastion of socialism in this country.

6:02

Fine. Okay.

6:03

You're heroes.

6:04

Now it's time to get the fuck back to work.

6:08

Everyone. Else's back to work everyone, but you, so I sent a tweet out that said either they don't want to go back to work or they're cowards.

6:15

I don't know. Is there a third option?

6:17

As far as teachers LA unified, not wanting to go back into the classroom either.

6:24

They don't want to do it, which is a distinct possibility for many of them or they're scared.

6:30

What is the third option?

6:32

I, you know what?

6:34

I think the, I don't know if this would be considered the third option that they are scared and they, and that is valid and we're all scared.

6:43

Get the fuck back to work.

6:45

Everyone's scared. I'm not scared, but everyone else is scared.

6:48

Everyone's scared. The truck drivers are scared.

6:50

People that work at trader Joe's are scared.

6:52

The people that work at the airport are scared.

6:54

Cops are scared. Firemen are scared.

6:55

Everyone's scared. Sanitation. Everyone's scared.

6:57

Now get the fuck back to work.

6:59

I thought that's what we did.

7:01

I thought that was a society.

7:03

Okay. Everyone's scared. I don't know why we're scared at this point, but okay.

7:07

Everyone's scared.

7:09

Do we want scared people teaching our kids?

7:12

I don't want cowards teaching my kids.

7:15

This is a big deal.

7:17

This fear thing. It's a big fucking deal.

7:20

I've been talking about this for a long time.

7:21

This umbrella fear.

7:23

It's like, Oh, it was zero tolerance for fear.

7:26

I don't want a bunch of fucking pussies teaching my kids.

7:29

Thank God. They're impenetrable as far as knowledge.

7:33

But do you want fearful people?

7:36

Do you want a bunch of fucking scared people teaching your kids?

7:41

Do we want the guy from a lost in space?

7:44

Who everyone thought was gay?

7:46

Whew. Do we want those fucking people teaching our kids?

7:50

I don't want cowards teaching my kids.

7:52

Well now. Well, the good news is they're not really teaching my kids because they're not going back to fucking school, but okay.

7:58

They're scared. Well we'll then who?

8:00

Amongst us couldn't use that excuse.

8:02

We're scared.

8:04

Okay, great.

8:05

Everyone works at a supermarket.

8:07

Scared everyone who works cooks at a kitchen is scared.

8:10

Everyone who works in a hotel is scared.

8:12

Every cop is scared. Look, everyone's scared.

8:15

Okay. We're all scared. Now what now?

8:18

Don't we have to weigh our responsibility and duties against weather.

8:22

Can we weigh that against our fear?

8:27

Sure. Yeah. My, my therapy for the, for the third option, like you raised was I'll bet.

8:31

There are plenty of teachers. In fact, maybe the majority who would like to go back to work as, as a safer, as soon as possible.

8:37

But like we alluded to where arrived on a few times earlier, it's the union that's kind of strong as the union.

8:43

Tell your union of now, you're not, you may want to go back, but we're not having it.

8:48

Tell your union of fuck off, then go push against your union.

8:51

Then it's your union.

8:52

It's your union.

8:54

It's like, Oh, well, if first off, why do we have to parse this out?

8:58

It's like, well, the teachers aren't cowards.

9:00

They want to go back to work. It's her union.

9:02

Well then coward, speak up against your union.

9:05

Talk to your rep. It's your union at this point, even look when you've lost Gavin Newsome in the pussy debate, you're done.

9:15

Even Gavin Newson. The biggest pussy of all is saying, get back to work.

9:20

That's the CDC.

9:21

That's the who?

9:22

That's Gavin Newsome.

9:24

That's Fowchee. That's everyone says, get the fuck back to work.

9:28

It's it's not like we don't have examples.

9:30

Schools are open worldwide, worldwide.

9:34

And in many, many other States get the fuck back their work.

9:39

And their thing is like, well, we don't like what you call us.

9:42

Well, sorry, pussies, stop being pussies.

9:47

You know, whatever you call the pussy, get the fuck back to work.

9:49

You're fucking with the kids.

9:51

That's the whole thing you're hurting.

9:53

The kids. Heroes, heroes, scared heroes.

9:56

Jesus Christ is anyone.

9:59

Think about the kids. It's been a year.

10:01

It's been a year.

10:03

A lot of these kids are never going to come back from this, get the fuck back to work.

10:07

This thing is like, well, what about us?

10:10

Like what about our safety? What about, yeah.

10:12

What about the kids? I thought you got into it to help the kids because you allegedly cared about kids.

10:19

Yes, it's the union, but it's the teacher's union.

10:23

And some, if there was enough pushback from the union members, they would reverse their course.

10:31

If the, if the, if the members of the union cry, yes.

10:35

Spoke up. Then the union, the leaders of the union would have to do their bidding.

10:40

They're not speaking up.

10:42

They have some things like everyone's gotta be vaccinated, vaccinated that that's months we've lost another year.

10:48

They have the, have all the stuff in place.

10:52

We know what to do, go do it.

10:54

And when it's so funny, you know, because this, this is new Fucking

10:59

job. Quit. Then if you don't want to do it, you're too big.

11:02

A fucking pussy to go back to work, then quit.

11:03

Sorry guys, This

11:05

is a good, this is great news for anyone who's not in, who's not a teacher because it's like, Oh, we should have these vaccinations by April or may like, Oh, that seems early.

11:14

The school year is over.

11:16

That's another school year. So what did it matter?

11:20

I have first off.

11:21

Is there any science that going back to the class even causes anything?

11:27

There's no science to that.

11:29

There's no spread in the classes.

11:30

Kids aren't vulnerable.

11:32

There's nothing that backs up their cowardice.

11:35

There's an there's. No. What?

11:36

Where the teacher sit died the whole rest of the country's open.

11:41

Where are they? Where the kids, where are the teachers?

11:43

Where's the body count? Where the statistics, they don't have any statistics then want to go back to fucking work.

11:50

And my thing is, if you don't like being called cowards, then Don't

11:54

act like a coward or you shall be called the cower.

11:57

Now, everyone else is a pussy because they pretend, they pretend like teachers do things, but they don't really care about teachers say, everyone just wants to be on the happy side, all this shit.

12:07

But I got some tweets from the teacher's union.

12:10

They have an official home Page

12:14

or something. Yeah, they have, they have a key, they have social accounts.

12:16

And this is in your response to your tweet, which I'll just, we'll just quote it here.

12:20

So the teacher union account exists for what is it supposed to do?

12:25

got to settle the Hash

12:29

of sealants comedians.

12:31

Well, Adam's tweet was LA teachers either.

12:33

Don't want to go back to work or are cowards.

12:35

Those are the only two options left At

12:39

this point. Those are the only two options left.

12:41

Every look, I, it doesn't, it's not even a left right thing anymore.

12:46

The foul cheese and the Gavin Newsome's are saying, get back to work.

12:51

So what is it?

12:53

All right, go ahead.

12:55

All right. So what they did is they shared a picture of tax and I saw this picture going around it's of your profile picture on Twitter.

13:01

And it says entitlement alert, Adam Corolla calls Los Angeles teachers cowards from his new $7.3 million mansion in lock-in Jada.

13:11

First off, that makes me smarter than you imbeciles.

13:13

Cause I got a mansion.

13:15

So that's number one.

13:16

I'm smarter than you guys.

13:18

Thank you.

13:20

Okay. And then they, they sent a few tweets out using that same picture.

13:23

One of the tweets says teachers are working Adam Carolla, but congrats on being spared that devastation our communities face, the communities we serve have COVID 19 levels, 15 times greater than those in your wealthy lock and Jada neighborhood.

13:37

That's why I moved batch. What does the value of your home has to do with you calling them cowards?

13:42

I mean, you can certainly take issue. Well, you call it them cowers, but that's a weird, You

13:46

gotta, you gotta make a decision these days when you disagree with someone like, do we play the race card or do we play the affluent card?

13:54

Those are your two choices. When you go against somebody, either I have to call them something.

13:58

And it has something to do with being racist or something to do with being rich.

14:03

That's the new angle.

14:05

The new angle is like, you've got money.

14:07

You live in an expensive house.

14:09

You know, what do I know?

14:12

Here's another tweet they sent along with that same picture, who is the coward, the teachers who dare confront government officials and powerful business to fight for the health of their students and families or you who sit safely and you're locking you out of managing criticizing.

14:24

What, apparently you don't even understand.

14:26

Teachers are working.

14:28

All right. The idea being that you're holed up safely in your mansion, right?

14:33

They know you very well.

14:36

I'll be, I'll be in Oklahoma city doing two shows.

14:39

Friday, two shows Saturday, this weekend, jealous of that cushy Southwest flight either.

14:44

Yes. I know they just it's it's this elite ism thing.

14:48

That's like, Oh, you have money.

14:49

So I'm going to try shame you because see what works on everyone now is you just tell them they have money and then everyone backs off or you call them a racist and they back off, I

14:59

have the flaw in that and the, in the, in the attacking the elitists or, or the elitism is everyone's unless you're in a private school, I guess, but everyone's kids are affected by this regardless.

15:10

Yes. Well, Thanks.

15:12

First off. I'm literally a millionaire.

15:14

No, thanks to LA unified.

15:16

No fucking thanks, Ellie.

15:18

You know, you guys failed me horribly.

15:22

We got more responses.

15:25

Anybody who defended you in that tweet thread, they would just post more pictures of tax.

15:29

This one says in the communities we serve 80% of the families live in poverty.

15:34

More than 80% of families are black and Latino.

15:37

And the rates of covenant infection are significantly higher and they keep punching the fact that they, most of their kids are black and Latinos as well.

15:45

Okay. Well, they're good. They're working the race angle.

15:47

Thank God. All right. So the black and the Latinos can languish in their crappy apartments while you guys hammer checks.

15:53

Thank you, heroes.

15:55

This thing of like we're pushing back against who they pushing back against the big companies of me, but it's like the big business and a government government.

16:07

Yeah. The government is your government.

16:10

It's the guy you gave all the money to Gavin Newsome wanting you to get back to work.

16:16

That's that's your guy.

16:18

You're not, Trump's gone.

16:19

It's Gavin Newsome now.

16:21

And by, And

16:23

why all the statistics about the, the, the, the, the impoverished children they serve are, are, I guess, important.

16:30

It doesn't feel germane to what's.

16:32

What did the interaction between you and them?

16:35

Yeah. It's out of left field. Well, They're

16:38

not first off.

16:40

They don't have a ton of logic. That's why they've decided to be LA unified school teachers.

16:45

And none of these guys are from the speech and debate team.

16:48

Evidently I corrected them.

16:51

I wrote back. I did not write that for my $7.3 million lock and Jada mansion.

16:56

I wrote that for my mansion in Malibu.

16:59

So yeah.

17:01

Well you want clarity?

17:04

Yeah. I was accurate. I did deliver that from my mansion in Malibu.

17:07

So just, just, just for clarity, LA unified.

17:10

All right, listen, here's the whole thing.

17:14

Nobody likes me anyway. So I don't give a fuck.

17:16

So get the fuck back to work.

17:19

It's a funeral, to be honest, I

17:21

guess I'm free. I'm free. And I'll send you, I'll send you that five bucks.

17:24

I shouldn't have guessed it out of. It'd be conciliatory.

17:26

Walk

17:26

back

17:26

as

17:26

a

17:26

statement

17:26

that

17:26

was

17:30

foolish. I'll then. Well, take that back.

17:35

Look as far as I can tell, the only way they're not going back to work.

17:40

Look, I think we've all seen over the last year or more that a, A

17:51

drive, a notion, a, a movement can change things.

17:57

And if, if we could rally the parents and the people of Los Angeles to start putting pressure on the teachers unions, once they get very unpopular and they get on sort of the losing side of public opinion and social media, and if we could get a few notable people to come out of the woodwork and go against them, then they would feel pressured and they would cave like any industry, any business, any anybody who's, who's basically running.

18:29

And so what they do is they hide under this veil of we're teachers and we're we're heroes.

18:37

And no one will fuck with us because we're sacred cows.

18:40

But if enough people piped up, we could put pressure on them and they would go back.

18:46

You know, what's interesting about that. We always talk about it.

18:49

Everybody always talks about it from the top down.

18:51

So, you know, why does it new? Some say something.

18:53

Why does a Garcetti say something? Why doesn't Biden say something, but you're right.

18:57

Because first of all, they don't want to not get reelected.

18:59

So, right.

19:01

So when you go from the bottom up people, part of that union, putting pressure on the people that represent them, that makes sense.

19:08

I don't know why we're constantly looking at it from the other way around About

19:12

optics a lot, but isn't the really bad optics for the union to be what we suspect using the kids as pawns, basically, to get a better deal or to get, I don't know what a better CBU who knows or a CBA, sorry, CBA.

19:26

Like they're essentially using these kids like pawn.

19:30

Yeah. They don't care about kids if they did, they'd be back to work.

19:33

I mean, look also, you know, there are many places where they never close the schools.

19:38

There's just many places in Europe and places in the United States where if they did close them, they close them for 10 minutes.

19:45

They'd been up for months and months and months, months, and months, we have all the data we need because every other school system has been open ostensibly, except for LA unified.

19:59

So let's get back to work heroes.

20:03

Can I say one more thing to your point?

20:04

The other thing that's been going around is the new variant.

20:09

There's a new variant or a couple of new variants.

20:11

They're not here, but what if they come here? So that's, isn't that kind of proving the point.

20:15

That things, as they are right now are safe because we're not really talking about what safe.

20:20

Now we're talking about what might not be safe. Next I

20:23

a good point. And here's a little thought experiment.

20:26

LA unified school teachers and unions, about 10 minutes ago, Trump was saying, we're going to get a vaccine.

20:39

And everyone was saying no way.

20:42

It's it's years, it's years.

20:44

It is no way. They've never developed a vaccine than four years.

20:48

You know? And then Trump was like, we're going to have one by Christmas.

20:51

You know, this is, this is in October or something, or maybe further back than that.

20:57

And everyone is going now it's two years.

20:59

It's two years minimum to, to create a vaccine.

21:03

Okay, well, what if we didn't have a vaccine?

21:08

What if it was, as the experts said, if you go back six or eight months ago, many experts were saying, this is a two year process, or this is a three-year process.

21:19

All right. So LA you know, here's my thought experiment.

21:23

LA unified teachers.

21:24

You're not going back without a vaccine.

21:26

What if we didn't have a vaccine for two years, then what?

21:31

Well, because the criteria is you need to get a vaccine.

21:35

So what if we didn't invent a vaccine?

21:37

Everyone thought it was going to take three years.

21:38

So what if we didn't have one, but you just never go back to work.

21:42

I'll

21:42

let

21:42

you

21:42

try

21:42

Terria

21:42

to

21:46

years. Yes. I'll let you guys think about that.

21:48

All right. Anyway, listen, I don't give two shits about the LA unified school district.

21:55

They're fucking horrible. And this is the United teachers, Los Angeles, this, Oh, this is United teachers.

22:00

All right. All right. Get the fuck back to work.

22:02

So says me, which you better not have run out of time to talk about fine arts day with your daughter.

22:10

Yeah, I did school.

22:13

I did fine arts day.

22:15

Although I dunno what it was connected to.

22:17

I don't either. I just saw a picture that Linnet post and I go, what the hell is this?

22:21

This is, we had fine arts day, which is, I'm not going to tell you, which is whose or whose is Watts, but I haven't, I haven't painted anything that wasn't, you know, facia or a deck or railing in probably since I was in high school.

22:47

So

22:47

the

22:47

way

22:47

it

22:47

was

22:47

like

22:47

a

22:47

paint

22:47

and

22:47

sip

22:47

without

22:47

the

22:47

wine,

22:47

a

22:47

yeah,

22:47

it's

22:47

like

22:47

a

22:47

father,

22:47

daughter,

22:47

zoom,

22:47

couple

22:47

other

22:47

father

22:47

daughters

22:47

on

23:00

there. One woman runs the class.

23:03

She's got the computer she's through school.

23:06

Or is this extracurriculars? This some sort of, I think it's extracurricular.

23:10

As far as I can tell.

23:12

I didn't, I don't sweat the details.

23:14

It's you know, I'm I just say, where, where do you want me?

23:17

What are we doing? No, the question was for Chris.

23:20

So I just showed up.

23:23

And that's how you got the paints and got the little canvas, the canvas where these little stretch boards are probably 12 by 18 or 12 by 16 or something like that.

23:35

And we just sat around the living room table.

23:38

And then the woman who runs the zoom art things sort of says, all right, here's the you're going to need.

23:46

And you're going to need some water and you're going to need this and you're gonna need that.

23:50

And here's how we're going to start.

23:51

Here's what it's supposed to look like.

23:55

And then you take it like piece by piece with her telling you how to do it.

23:58

Yeah. Yeah. It's like the little trees, everything blue say paint, everything blue.

24:02

And you know, it's funny all along the way, she just keeps going.

24:07

It doesn't really matter what direction you go.

24:09

And it doesn't really matter. And it doesn't really matter.

24:11

And it's okay if you do this and it's okay if you spill that or do that, it it's doesn't really matter.

24:18

Yeah. But at the end, your stuff looks like shit.

24:20

If it doesn't really matter all along the way, like at some point it has to matter, sweetheart.

24:25

She said, I was like, no, there's no right.

24:27

And there's no wrong. Oh, there's a right.

24:30

And a wrong. She said it doesn't matter to her.

24:32

No, that is spoken like a teacher who seen people mentally break the fuck down during these classes.

24:38

Oh God. I'm sure It

24:40

just tears. The only good part of the whole experience was Natalia was seeing what her friends were doing.

24:46

And it looked equally shitty as what I was doing.

24:49

So I felt, I felt better.

24:52

I'm trying to think. I haven't. I think I know which one is yours.

24:55

Well, yeah, there's two that are about the same where we're were painting the Northern lights essentially.

25:01

Ah, yes.

25:04

Yeah. Aurora Borealis. Yes. We, we got on the right.

25:06

Looks more sophisticated.

25:07

So

25:07

for

25:07

that

25:07

reason,

25:07

I'll

25:07

say

25:07

this

25:07

to

25:07

tell

25:07

you

25:12

That's interesting. I thought the one on the right looked more kind of like black and white thinking.

25:19

Like these are what trees look like.

25:21

And this is what a big swath of light looks like.

25:24

Can you maybe pull up tighter max a pad?

25:26

I don't know if you can, you can do that.

25:28

The one on the left. And this is a compliment to both of you, depending on who's.

25:32

It is, has more of a girlish whimsy.

25:34

So to say that yours is on the right.

25:39

Well, Brian has me on the right.

25:41

We'll put these up.

25:43

It was just the one with the, what? The big wide white swath.

25:46

Is

25:46

that

25:46

the

25:46

one

25:46

you're

25:46

talking

25:49

about? Brian? I have Italian on the right.

25:51

The ties on the right.

25:52

And a gene is guessing you're on the right.

25:56

Yeah. Okay.

25:56

I'm on the left.

25:58

So Natalia is on the right.

26:01

There you go. It's such a girlish whimsy about your tree.

26:06

I was, I was taking a me day.

26:08

I just kinda feeling pretty.

26:10

I'm a stipple on to get my stipple on.

26:15

So those dreamy branches, I know we're just sitting there.

26:20

And then she was the lady instructor was putting us through our paces and we're getting our paint on.

26:28

Like I said, you know, this, this will fall under the heading of stuff you would never think to do or initiate yourself, but it's good for you.

26:40

Like you're just sitting there, you got the paint.

26:43

When's the last time anyone painted anything in earnest, like with a paint brush, like try to paint a picture.

26:50

I haven't done that since I was in high school.

26:53

The only time I've done, this is at a bachelorette party where this was the, the activities.

26:58

So I'm with you Covering

26:59

up the hole in the wall. Right? I told the for me, yeah.

27:03

I told Natalia I was, I was an art major in high school.

27:08

And she's like, what? I'm like, I know I was like, I was a ceramics major and she's like, that's not art.

27:13

Oh, Wow.

27:15

Said take it up with, to me more That's

27:19

right. I know.

27:20

So there it is.

27:23

We'll put that up and I'm curl.com, but it was, it was nice sitting in a painting.

27:28

And where will those be displayed and will you have new track lighting put into highlight?

27:32

Yeah.

27:34

Well the definitely got to go on the refrigerator.

27:36

That's the way, that's the way it's fun.

27:40

That's refrigerator. It's kid art kid.

27:43

Art goes on the refrigerator.

27:44

Dawson ran into a Karen.

27:47

So says he, Yeah.

27:50

On a Thursday I was working in my backyard and, and you know, I've been working with your guys over there and they tore out the fence that separates my driveway from my backyard.

28:01

So I have a rod iron gate that I keep locked, but my dogs can get right up to the sidewalk and the dog that was formerly known as the champ now barely a contender.

28:12

He

28:12

has

28:12

a

28:12

nasty

28:12

habit

28:12

of,

28:12

of

28:12

running

28:12

up

28:12

on

28:12

people

28:12

and

28:12

doing

28:12

a

28:12

lot

28:12

of

28:21

barking. And it's a little embarrassing. And especially now that there's no fence between the driveway and the gate, it happens quite often when people are walking their dogs on the sidewalk.

28:30

Usually it's not a big deal.

28:33

I run over there. I say, I'm sorry about that.

28:36

Dogs being in dogs, you know, he's just protecting his property.

28:39

Most people are cool with it.

28:41

Most, some people give me a weird look and this first time this lady engaged me.

28:49

So I went over there and I said, Hey, sorry about that.

28:52

You

28:52

know,

28:52

he's

28:52

just,

28:52

he's

28:52

just

28:52

being

28:52

a

28:55

dog. I hope it didn't scare you.

28:57

She stands with her dog right at my fence while my dog is barking and starts yelling at me asking me why I'm not telling my dog to be quiet.

29:09

Then

29:09

she

29:09

says

29:09

that

29:09

if,

29:09

if

29:09

my

29:09

dog

29:09

got

29:09

out,

29:09

her

29:09

dog

29:09

would

29:09

kick

29:09

my

29:09

dog's

29:19

ass. That's uncalled for that's not necessarily.

29:24

Wow. And, and you know, at first I was, I had apologized.

29:28

I said, I'm sorry, but now she's going to take it in a whole nother direction.

29:31

So I'm just like, lady, just get outta here.

29:34

I'm not talking to you. Right.

29:36

Just take a hike Information.

29:39

There is a fence. The fare is yes, Yes.

29:42

There there's a, there's a rod iron gate, separating everything.

29:45

Everybody is safe and contained and she's out of line.

29:50

And she, I say beat it, lady.

29:53

I'm done with you get out of here.

29:55

And she goes, you get outta here.

29:57

And I'm like, lady, I live here and she goes, I live here too.

30:07

Okay. I've been here three years. I've never seen you.

30:09

But I just, I just kinda throw up my hands and I, I tell champ, good boy, champ.

30:14

And I, and I go back to working in the yard while this lady essentially is trying to instigate my dog, getting into a fight with her dog.

30:25

She's like, look at my dog.

30:26

I can walk my dog around.

30:28

My dog is calm. I'm like lady, I, when I walk my dog, he does the same thing.

30:32

You're on the border of my dogs property.

30:35

You're a threat.

30:37

I think that's pretty common for a dog to go nuts.

30:39

When another dog is right outside the fence, my dog does it.

30:42

I helped plenty of neighborhood. It's

30:43

it's a thing. And when you walk your dog around the neighborhood where you know, dogs are going to do this, I always crossed the street to mitigate any barking problems because I'm a respectful neighbor.

30:57

Speaking of medical, just why you would just walk, right?

31:01

But Dawson, you still need to get a grand Torino and park it with, because I feel that's where this is all going.

31:08

Yeah. Befriend the Asian boy, two houses down.

31:13

I would imagine. Now this woman looked about 70.

31:16

She had major, major plastic surgery.

31:20

Her

31:20

lips

31:20

were

31:22

huge. I think she was Armenian, but my whole neighborhoods are meaning and we all love each other.

31:30

That's I don't. Well, this, this begs this question because I, I had a Karen, I got a Karen story.

31:38

31:58

34:29

Put his things back in order as you're putting away newly laundered shirts, socks, et cetera.

34:35

Just one of 120 ways to please a man take notes.

34:39

Now, back to the Adam Carolla show.

34:43

Yeah. I had a minor Karen story from a couple of days back that involved a driving can we should, Hey, here's something we should all tell our children.

34:53

As

34:53

you

34:53

travel

34:53

through

34:53

this

34:53

thing

34:53

called

34:53

life,

34:53

there's

34:53

going

34:53

to

34:53

be

34:53

people

34:53

with

34:53

dogs

34:53

and

34:53

dogs

34:53

are

34:53

going

34:53

to

34:53

do

35:05

things. Sometimes they're going to run up to you.

35:07

Sometimes they're going to bark.

35:08

Sometimes they're going to act weird.

35:10

Don't

35:10

be

35:10

that

35:10

put

35:10

off

35:10

by

35:10

it,

35:14

right. You know, what's going on, It's

35:19

a dog. And then the dog lives here and some dogs wag their tails and some dogs bark, and some dogs do sort of something in between.

35:27

That's not be so don't be confused or befuddled people have dogs.

35:32

They have different temperaments.

35:34

You know, the people that are like you're with your dog.

35:38

And it's like trying to run up to the other dog or something.

35:40

And people are like, almost confused, like what's going on?

35:43

It's like, it's a dog dog. Say hi to other dogs, Charlie,

35:47

on his walk today into the neighborhood about four or five times dogs inside the house or the fence, the yard, or whatever went nuts because they're excited.

35:54

They're protective, whatever.

35:56

That's what dogs do. They're inside.

35:58

That's why they're inside a fence.

35:59

So they should not attack yours.

36:02

Most of my neighbors and I, it is embarrassing.

36:04

You know, the, the dog scares people.

36:07

I get it. And I say, I'm sorry.

36:10

Most neighbors go, Hey, that's a dog doing what he's supposed to do.

36:14

Don't apologize to me. I'm like, I love you.

36:16

Thanks pal. The, The other thing I'm going to tell my children is when you're driving, sometimes people cut in front of you or they don't see you, or they're attempting to do something.

36:27

Don't be confused or befuddled.

36:29

I was, I was pulling onto PCH a few days ago and I was turning left and it so happened.

36:37

You

36:37

know,

36:37

certain

36:37

things

36:37

about

36:37

driving

36:37

are

36:37

kind

36:37

of

36:37

timing,

36:37

which

36:37

is,

36:37

most

36:37

of

36:37

the

36:37

cars

36:37

are

36:37

just

36:37

going

36:37

down

36:37

PCH

36:37

one

36:37

direction

36:37

or

36:37

the

36:48

other. So you have to kind of look to the left. Is anyone coming?

36:51

If no one's coming, you can start.

36:52

But every once in a blue moon, someone will be turning onto the street.

36:57

You're turning off of they're slowing down and they're turning now.

37:00

Meanwhile, you're looking to the left to make sure no cars are coming.

37:04

No cars are coming. So you start heading out and then you look to your right and you see someone is slowing down and actually turning into the street.

37:12

You're leaving from this woman gave me the what's, what, what is this?

37:16

What's going on? Like, what's the meaning of this?

37:18

Like sort of hands flying in the air. It's like, I'm pulling out onto a highway.

37:22

I'm looking to the left because that's where the cars are coming from.

37:26

I, I guess what I saw you, I didn't hit you.

37:31

I saw you you're you, by the way, are doing a weird move where you're coming down, PCH and turning onto a side street.

37:38

So you've got to cut me a little grace here.

37:40

And our cars never came closer than 14 feet.

37:44

What, what is the, what's the problem?

37:46

She just like held it, like what? What's going on?

37:48

Like hands. And they're like, what what's happening is it, let me tell you what's happening, bitch.

37:52

Other people are driving the ISIS some context.

37:55

Why are you confused by this?

37:58

Why is it so offboarding? Like, Oh, it's like, it's perfect context.

38:02

I'm pulling out. I'm looking to the left.

38:04

PCH cars are going 60 miles an hour.

38:07

You want to make sure you look to the left.

38:09

If you can get no one's coming to the left.

38:11

You can kind of zipper in with, with the traffic.

38:14

But if someone is turning left onto the street, I'll see them.

38:18

But I won't see them until I'm done.

38:20

Making sure no one's coming from the left.

38:23

That's why it's it.

38:24

It's it's, there's a context here. You're pulling into this weird side street and I'm pulling out.

38:30

You could say what's a little bit of timing.

38:32

I mean, we've all had that where it's like, you know, that move where there's like a pedestrian and you're looking to the right and the pedestrians coming the other direction.

38:43

And now it's clear and you start to move and they give you the walk.

38:46

It's like, it's just a timing thing.

38:48

Just timing, nothing personal.

38:51

But, but those interactions are a gift to people like that.

38:56

That's how they look at it.

38:57

They love it.

38:59

They love reveling in it. And the one that, the one that I encounter all the time, cause I live off of a main street and I'm sure you guys know this.

39:07

You've I'm sure you've encountered this a million times.

39:09

I fucking hate when you're turning either way off of a main street right or left and the cars can park on the main street.

39:17

So it really obstructs your vision.

39:19

You can't see you and shout, but there's another four feet in front of me until I arrive and have eyeballs and can see, you can see me.

39:28

And then they lay on their horn.

39:31

Like I'm trying to kill somebody. And it happens to me every day.

39:36

Bye. I completely agree.

39:38

Also, this woman gave the what the hell, like hands in the air.

39:43

And then I do what I always do, which is to wave like, sorry, like I didn't see you.

39:48

And then they come back with, what's going, what's the meaning?

39:51

It's like, you're doubling down on the hands in the air.

39:53

Other knowledge them. And given the air to their fire, Using

39:57

this life for you, like, don't you feel like that's one big all life is, is you trying to make your way through something while guess what other people trying to make their way through stuff.

40:08

And every once in a while, somebody comes close to you.

40:12

The elevator door opened. She steps out guys.

40:14

Not

40:17

that I wish this upon anybody. But imagine if this woman was ever raped while jogging to imagine her, she'd be like, what, what, what is going on?

40:26

This is, this is an outrage.

40:28

I'm on her side now.

40:29

Well, I'm just saying if she could be that upset by me driving my car, imagine there's never a victim of a violent crime.

40:37

All right. So, So

40:39

whenever this happens to me, I have a move.

40:42

I might be enforcing some racial stereotypes.

40:44

I don't know. But it used to be, I used to just give the thumbs up or smile as like, cause it would make them even more mad.

40:50

But now what I've been doing is I've been leading my head forward, squinting my eyes and trying to look as Asian as possible.

40:58

Wow. I know. And then I look at them and they just do like the, Oh, of course.

41:01

And they just go and they never, then it's over.

41:04

It's over in a second.

41:08

I Know Kelly has gotten me out of a lot of, a lot of confrontation.

41:14

Give me some of those glasses. Jerry Lewis wore this in the sixties movies.

41:18

So I can see if I can pull this one off.

41:21

Yeah. The ones for breakfast at Tiffany's.

41:23

What's

41:25

that? Jerry Lewis. What's

41:27

his Fucking Oh, Rooney, Mickey, Mickey Rooney.

41:32

That's it all right.

41:34

I had a, so the Crow lady, You

41:36

got the story. The CRO ladies has some anxiety, so she's not coming on.

41:42

But yeah. I want you to, the crows gave her a look.

41:45

She knew, we'll tell you this Max

41:49

max foul by a few seconds.

41:51

Cause I just wrote down Dennis Cole, the actor.

41:55

I was a, I was watching Charlie, Dennis Cole, the actor, he, he was this actor who looked like a Ken doll.

42:08

Like he was beach.

42:11

He was the beach blonde, you know, dimples.

42:15

And this just, just, just handsome square cut fella area, area type.

42:22

And he was so it's like, so here's a weird little game to play with everyone.

42:30

So you watch Charlie's angels.

42:33

Hey, you don't have to watch Charlie's angels.

42:36

You could watch the bionic woman, if you want, or a $6 million man or a love boat, any of the classics, you watch it.

42:44

Right. And when you see this guy, he's at the height of his powers, right?

42:50

Cause you're seeing Dennis Cole at age 33, he ends up marrying Jacqueline Smith.

42:57

Right? Right. So look, I don't know how much higher flying you can be than marrying arguably the hottest of the angels of Charlie's angels.

43:07

I mean, w if you marry one of Charlie's angels while Charlie's angels is on you're at the fucking height of your powers.

43:16

Right? Right. So I'm always like what happened with these guys?

43:20

So just the little, just life, everybody, which is this guy, Dennis Cole, great looking guy comes out here, does it guest arc on Charlie's angels probably meets Jacqueline Smith and then starts dating the hottest woman on the planet.

43:39

And then Mary, her, as you read on, so you read on with these guys.

43:45

So you're watching them in 1981.

43:47

You know what I mean?

43:49

And you're like, you are at the height of your powers right now.

43:52

Best looking guy on the planet who married best looking woman on the planet.

43:55

But how did it work after that?

43:58

You know?

43:58

So I was reading about him.

44:01

He's he'd do the love boat. He'd kind of make the rounds.

44:04

He didn't see a 70th birthday.

44:07

I think he died at 69, like kidney failure or something.

44:11

So number one's like, well, he's dead.

44:13

So it's not going that good.

44:15

Number two, you know, he didn't, he didn't, he didn't, he didn't get to a rush Limbaugh's age.

44:22

And Then

44:24

it's like, this marriage With

44:26

Jacqueline Smith lasted for three years.

44:28

So it's like, all right, then you keep it's like his son was murdered and it was never solved.

44:36

What? So you're sitting around going out and this guy's got the world by the tail.

44:41

Right? His, I guess his only son was murdered and like in Hollywood and unsolved, Venice, California never solved, like home invasion, whatever.

44:52

Then you go, all right.

44:54

So I dunno, was he blessed?

44:56

I mean, he looked pretty damn good, but son was murdered and it was never solved and he's dead.

45:04

And so it was his son and Jacqueline Smith still going good though.

45:08

What's

45:08

his

45:10

story? Max? A Patta. Is that right?

45:12

The center? Yeah. How old was the son?

45:14

It was like 19 or something.

45:17

His son Joe was 30. 30. Yeah.

45:18

So him and Henry Rollins were assaulted by armed robbers outside there.

45:23

Henry Rollins. Yeah. They share it.

45:25

They shared a home. He was, yeah. He was a roadie.

45:28

Wow. Yeah.

45:29

He was a roadie for black fit for black flag and the Roland split band.

45:34

So, wow. Yeah. So Cole, his name is Joe Cole.

45:37

So Joe and Henry were assaulted outside their shared home in Venice beach.

45:43

They attended a whole concert at the whiskey, a go-go and the returning home after having stopped at an all-night grocery store, two armed men described as black and in their twenties approached them demanding money.

45:55

The guys only had 50 bucks between them.

45:57

The gunman ordered the two men to go inside their house for more cash Rowlands entered at gunpoint.

46:02

However Cole was killed outside after being shot in the face at close range while Roland's escape out the back door and alerted the police murderer.

46:09

Mason solved 91,

46:12

December of 91 yet I missed the whole Henry Rollins part of that, that story.

46:17

Don't talk Contra for whole the band.

46:20

Yeah, the whiskey.

46:22

Yeah. 1991. They were ahead of the curve.

46:24

Yeah. Well that's why they were at the whiskey and not at staple center.

46:28

Wow. Yeah. So in an interview in 92, Roland's revealed that he kept a plastic container full of soil soaked with Coles blood.

46:37

Oh, nice. Yeah. It's Rawlins.

46:39

Isn't it? Rawlins. Yeah.

46:41

Wow. All right. So anyway, have fun.

46:44

Have a scotch watch the love boat or a Charlie's angels and see how it panned out for a lot of the guest actors on that show.

46:52

And then, so he, he died, the actor died in Dennis Cole probably made it to like 2009 or something like that.

47:04

Yeah. So that's almost 20 years with your son's murder.

47:09

Unsolved. That's gotta be a pretty crappy final 18, 19 years on the planet.

47:17

All right. So you got the, you got the CRO story, sorry, Dawson.

47:22

Yeah. The headline is I accidentally created an army of Crow, body guards.

47:27

Am I liable if my murder Attempts

47:30

murder to make a long story short on the late twenties, Joe

47:34

Cole and Henry Rollins wish they had to fucking crows up on that Venice beach cottage, right?

47:42

I'm a late 20 something living in Portland, Oregon.

47:44

I had a pretty intense emo goth phase as a tween that I thought I had grown up.

47:49

Can I say this? Who are the people Shoot

47:51

people in the face after they come up to them and go, you got cash.

47:55

It's like, no.

47:57

Okay. I shall chat to you in the face. Like this hardly seems fair.

48:00

It really doesn't like how much profitable?

48:03

What do you think? I have $2,800 in my back pocket.

48:07

Like how much money would you have on you at any given time is the over-under is $31.

48:15

It's high risk, low reward.

48:17

I know Jesus Christ.

48:20

All right. So A

48:22

couple of months ago, I was watching a nature program on our local station about crows.

48:25

The program mentioned that if you feed them and be friend to them, crows will bring you small gifts.

48:31

My emo phase came back full force, and I figured I was furloughed and had lots of time.

48:36

So why not make some crew friends?

48:37

My plan worked a little too well.

48:39

And the residents five crows in my neighborhood have turned into an army 15 strong at first, my neighbors didn't mind and enjoyed it.

48:47

They're mostly elderly and most were in a, in a bird-watching glove.

48:51

Anyway, they thought the fact that I had crows following me around whenever I go outside was funny lately, the crows have started defending me.

48:58

My neighbor came over for a socially distance, chat me on the porch, her and her yard, her in my yard.

49:03

And the crows started dive, bombing.

49:06

Her. Anyone that goes to visit someone and stands out in the yard, deserves to be dive bombed by CRA They

49:12

would not stop until she left my yard.

49:15

They didn't make physical contact with her, but they got very close.

49:18

Am I liable? If these crows injure someone since I've fed them, I obviously can't control the crows.

49:24

I would rather them not attack my neighbors, but since I technically created this nuisance, could I be financially on the hook for any injuries to be clear, they're not aggressive.

49:32

100% of the time, if just the neighbors are out there friendly normal crows, they only get aggressive.

49:37

When someone comes close to me or my property or Amazon guy, that was a few months ago, here's the update.

49:43

So to make a long story short, I called our local Audubon society.

49:48

They didn't think feeding the crows was bad and suggested that the neighbors also start feeding them.

49:54

So they essentially became better socialized.

49:56

The plan worked and the crows are now a beloved part of the community.

50:00

They have no recent dive bombings.

50:02

Most amazingly the crows may have legitimately saved my neighbor.

50:07

Our city had gotten pretty big ice and snow event recently, like I said, my last post, most of the neighbors are older.

50:15

One of my neighbors was walking down a steep driveway, slipped and couldn't get back up.

50:20

The crows started going ballistic and making more noise than we have ever heard a different neighbor.

50:27

Went outside to see what was up found.

50:29

The gentleman in his driveway neighbor is mostly okay, just some serious bruises.

50:34

Needless to say the crows have been getting some high value foods since then.

50:39

Thanks for all the help on my original post.

50:41

It blew up way more than I was expecting.

50:44

And I thought you guys would enjoy an update.

50:48

Well, crows. And then I think Dr.

50:51

Drew tweeted me a couple of days back saying that the dogs are now sniffing cancer.

50:56

If trained the dog, sniff cancer, this song, little worlds, all the stuff I've been talking about was that a wizard of Oz, a reference, no time to be alive.

51:09

I know I've just picturing the monkeys flying around and there's a bit of a side reference.

51:17

Yeah. I've, you know, here's the thing a crows are going to start being used for security and dogs are going to start sniffing cancer and it's, and it's, it's already, it's already on.

51:31

Let's see, Aaron is kind of trunk I'm on.

51:36

All right. I just kind kinda drunk online for Aaron 37, Tennessee.

51:43

Hey, what's up Adam? How you doing man? Hey Man.

51:45

What's happening?

51:47

Oh, I was just calling in dude. I had a random tweet and I saw it and I was like, dude, I have never actually had an opportunity to call these guys.

51:53

So I thought I would, Kevin noted that I'd been drinking a little bit, but fair.

51:58

It'd be fun to talk to.

51:59

Basically one of my heroes, somebody I quote constantly throughout my entire life to all my friends, man.

52:06

So thanks for your wisdom.

52:09

Thank you. What have you been drinking?

52:10

You're

52:12

Drunk in Tennessee sour Mash.

52:14

I'm staying on theme. I'm going to old Crow.

52:16

Bloody Mary's Dang

52:20

dude. So I've had a little bit of a concoct moment, but that's not even a word.

52:25

Jesus. It shouldn't be the fact that you knew that.

52:27

So fast.

52:31

Sorry about that. What was that? Brian? Go ahead man.

52:33

You're you're good.

52:34

Okay. So I like to mix a white claws basically with vodka.

52:38

So it lowers the carbs even more, but then I love whiskey.

52:43

My wife hates it.

52:44

So I saved the whiskey nights for the nights that I know I'm not getting nookie.

52:51

I don't get it. He's got the, she's got the pillow on the bed on one side, says not tonight.

52:57

And then on the other side says not tonight.

52:59

So she puts that out.

53:01

It's sort of floated die. Yeah, Exactly.

53:04

Exactly. After four kids, that's all you have is a dice that rolls the ACEs every time.

53:10

How many of those kids are whisky kits?

53:14

Actually, both my boys. They love whiskey.

53:16

My daughter hates alcohol altogether.

53:17

You report me to CPS?

53:21

Yeah. How old, how old are the boys?

53:23

So

53:26

Business closed and I'm moving into math. So they were zero.

53:32

I've asked you how many months they've been on the planet.

53:36

Gotcha.

53:38

Okay. Five years, five years into Adam.

53:44

He didn't know his age and we'd scream the call on 36.

53:49

Okay. I literally just had a birthday.

53:50

I don't care about my age.

53:52

Hitler had a birthday. They don't matter, right?

53:55

Oh yeah. Oh, by the way, it's coming up.

53:58

Decorating the place.

53:59

Yeah, I forgot about that.

54:02

Yeah.

54:04

Okay. All right. Well Aaron, thanks for calling.

54:06

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah. Oh, geez.

54:10

Sorry. Okay. Adam actually had a real question for you and a real comment.

54:14

Oh, tomorrow's our birthday. Tomorrow is our 12 year anniversary.

54:16

So it says smacks pound.

54:20

Yeah. Old enough for Aaron to give us that's right.

54:24

Hm. I, I know. Sorry for wasting your time with all.

54:26

I've actually thought many times about everything.

54:30

I would want to talk to you guys if I ever had a chance, but Dr.

54:33

Jew's constantly wondering how have you guys changed?

54:35

Just something for you to think about is you've been asking drew if he's ever watched the shining.

54:42

Sorry. I listen to our love line from Giovanni from 30 years ago.

54:46

And you're constantly asking him, have you ever watched the shining?

54:49

I'd be curious. Has he actually watched the shining in the last 30 years?

54:55

That's something that's, that's pretty crazy.

54:58

The other thing is he's he's wondering if you guys have ever changed, you got rid of me.

55:03

Oh,

55:03

all

55:07

right. Well, he's, he's always wondering if you've, if you've ever changed.

55:09

Well, now Drew's kind of turned into like a 16 year old that watches all these crazy little like Twitter bopping shows and he's never watched the shining.

55:18

And you're the only one that watches documentaries, where if you can remember, 30 years ago used to watch, I mean your whole stick was masturbating and watching TV.

55:27

Right? Well, I am back with Charlie saying I'm watching Starsky and Hutch and watching the $6 million man.

55:35

Somebody thanks, Aaron, Gina.

55:37

This is gonna give some clarity, but also should upset you more.

55:42

Yeah. Somebody tweeted me that the beginning of the bionic woman, which was completely male then after the extravaganza of the opening sequence of the $6 million man, the bionic woman is like some sort of low budget afterthought.

55:57

She's doing leg lifts with a phone book on her feet.

56:00

Yeah. She's doing a leg lift with 20 pounds on the leg extensions.

56:03

And then somebody said to me, Oh, that's from the episode where she was introduced to the bionic man or something.

56:12

And that was during her rehab.

56:14

That's why the wait was so light.

56:16

And I was like, well, even worse, they just took like stock footage from another episode instead of their own opening, It

56:25

makes it so the only way they could even remotely redeem themselves is if this were the kind of show where the narration goes over it.

56:33

And it's like, and then she was rehabbing.

56:35

But if that is supposed to be the thing that a new list, a new watcher knows about the show that they've never seen.

56:41

The one episode where she's rehabbing her leg, that is fucking insane.

56:45

Well fired up.

56:47

She is so stupid.

56:51

Season two episode 19, Well,

56:56

season four, this was explained.

57:00

Yeah, let's see. She's lifting weight because she just had surgery and is in rehab.

57:06

I know it's still bad opening sequence stuff.

57:09

You'll be happy to know that on the theme of Dennis Cole going on Charlie's angels and getting married to Jacqueline Smith, one of the angels before I left, I was watching the episode of the $6 million man or Farrah faucet played a news reporter, ended up finding love with Lee majors.

57:35

They took off in a dune Bucky at the end of the, at the end of it.

57:39

And Farrah faucet married Lee majors.

57:45

Yes. And do you want to hear another crazy piece of trivia that you may or may not be aware of?

57:50

Do you know that the song midnight train to Georgia is about Farrah faucet and Lee majors?

57:56

Yeah. Well, it's supposed to be A

57:58

midnight plane to Houston when she was talking about being with Lee majors, but it became midnight train to Georgia.

58:06

I think we got into this. It was written by a friend of his that played like semi-pro football.

58:11

And yes, that be, I

58:14

heard this on a micro episode of the way I heard it.

58:17

We've discussed it on this show for first show of 2018.

58:22

But The

58:23

also

58:23

it's

58:23

so

58:23

insane

58:23

that

58:23

he,

58:23

Lee

58:23

majors

58:23

lost

58:23

Farrah

58:23

faucet

58:23

to

58:23

Ryan

58:23

O'Neill

58:23

O'Neill

58:23

Ryan

58:23

O'Neal

58:23

was

58:23

like

58:23

the

58:23

best

58:23

looking

58:23

Dick,

58:23

Dick

58:23

swinging

58:23

his

58:23

cocksman

58:23

of

58:23

the

58:23

seventies

58:23

and,

58:23

and,

58:23

and

58:23

Malibu

58:23

had

58:23

ever

58:45

produced. And the notion that Lee majors would take fair faucet and that like height of her powers and Ryan O'Neal at the height of his powers and say, keep an eye on my wife, take her out, show her a good time.

59:01

She's going to get lonely. I'm going to Canada and make a movie.

59:05

How else would that turn out?

59:08

Yeah, that's a gift.

59:11

I always wonder when guys do that, are they saying I don't want to be married anymore?

59:16

Yeah. Yeah. That'd be a way out.

59:18

Yeah. Do you think they know it?

59:20

That's where they, Where they like best friends.

59:23

Lee and Ryan.

59:25

I don't know. But the story was, is like Lee majors was married to her and Lee majors had to go film the fall guy or something.

59:33

And he said, Dick, look after take her out.

59:35

Show her good idea.

59:36

Imagine that poor decision, I would say.

59:41

Yeah. Yeah. Get Dennis Cole.

59:43

You too that take her out.

59:46

Show her a good time. But I guess that was it.

59:48

I guess she just took off with, with rhino Neil after that, by the way, rhino O'Neal is he still alive?

59:57

I guess he'd like, here's one.

59:59

He was so old school that he'd get like, you know, the old, super old school Hollywood guys who would get in fist fights with their adult sons, like throw down, like literally throw down with adult sons.

1:00:13

Like I, we w we shall Duke it out now adults with our fists, our differences.

1:00:19

Yes. And that's a good example of if I'm remembering this correctly, physically abused the sons emotionally and mentally abused.

1:00:26

The daughter don't show up when she gets her Oscar for a movie you did together.

1:00:32

Tatum O'Neal paper, moon.

1:00:35

Yeah. A boy is anyone.

1:00:37

Is anyone have a good life anymore?

1:00:39

All right. Yeah. He's 79 years.

1:00:42

Young Farrah was, I guess the love of his life.

1:00:46

Mary. This is the other example of married twice non consecutively to Vera faucet from 79 to 97.

1:00:52

Then again from Oh one Oh nine. What she Does.

1:00:54

That's so strange when that happens.

1:00:57

All right. We got the rotten tomatoes game to play first.

1:01:00

Adam Ray went last. He got a he went he's in between us -- Yeah. -- nothing out. Understood. Yeah. Alright. So So we did have a sanctioned game going again. We got that to get to. We're Max Hada did some top notch produced. My God, that's producing man. He found this woman on Reddit who defended Crows and they defended her and attacked, you know, she had her own murder of attack crows. Mhmm. So we're gonna speak to her about how that worked coming up. I did a little fine art over the weekend, and I got the teachers unions all hacked off. That mean. Now, here's the deal. First things first, I don't give a fuck about the teacher's union. Like, oh, Adam's worried about the teacher's union. I didn't like fucking teachers when I was in school. As I've said, it was it was mutual. Yeah. It's it's a it's a pretty simple equation. Get an auditorium full of a thousand people, ask everyone raise your hand if you had a teacher that changed your life, everyone's hand will go up and then ask them if you had two teachers that ever take ever shaped your life. And most of the hands will go down. And by the time you get to four teachers, they're all down. So Okay. -- in your own -- I had three -- -- three good teachers out of hundred and twenty eight teachers. Alright. So number 1, this thing where it's like, well, we have to have this reverence for what? People that tapped out of life who didn't wanna join society, who basically went into it. The last bastion of socialism in this country. Fine. Okay. Your heroes. Now it's time to get the fuck back to work. Everyone. Else's back to work everyone, but you, so I sent a tweet out that said either they don't want to go back to work or they're else is back to work, everyone but you. So I said a tweet out that said, either they don't wanna go back to work or their powers. I don't know. Is there a third is the third option. As far as teachers, LA Unified, not wanting to go back in classroom. Either they don't wanna do it, which is a distinct possibility for many of them, or they're scared. What is the third option? You know what? I think the I I don't know if this would be considered the third option. That they are scared and they and that is valid. Like Alright. And we're all scared. Get the fuck back to work. 1 scared. I'm not scared, but everyone else is scared. Everyone's scared. The truck drivers are scared. People at work at Trader Joe's are scared. People work at the airport are scared, cops are scared, firemen are scared. Everyone's scared. Sanitation. Everyone's scared. Now get the fuck back to work. I thought that's what we did. I thought that was a society. Okay. 1 scared. I don't know why we're scared at this point, but okay. Everyone's scared. Do we want scared people teaching our kids? I don't want cowards teaching my kids. This is a big deal. This fear thing. It's a big fucking deal. I've been talking about this for a long time, this umbrella fear. It's like, oh, we have zero tolerance for fear. I don't want a bunch of fucking pussies teaching my I don't want a bunch of fucking pussies. Teaching my kids, thank god they're impenetrable as far as knowledge. But do you want Fearful people. Do you want a bunch of fucking scared people teaching your kids? Do we want the guy from lost in space? Who everyone thought was gay. Whew. Do we want those fucking people teaching our we want those fucking people teaching our kids? I don't want cowards teaching my kids. Well now, Well, the good news is they're not really teaching my kids because they're not going back to fucking school, but okay, they're scared. Well well then who amongst us couldn't use that SKUs. We're scared. Okay? Right. Everyone works at a supermarket scared. Everyone who works cooks at a kitchen is scared. Everyone who works in a hotel is scared. Every cop is scared. Look, everyone's scared. Okay? We're all scared. Now what? now? Don't we have to weigh our responsibility and duties against Now don't we have to weigh our responsibility and duties against whether can we weigh that against our fear? Sure. Yeah. My my fear for the for the third option like you raised was I'll bet there are plenty of features. In fact, maybe the majority who would like to go back to work as as as safe for as soon as possible. But like we alluded to or arrived on a few times earlier, It's the union that's kinda strong. It is the union. Tell your union of No. You're not. Yeah. You may want to go back, but we're not having it. Well, tell your union to fuck off that. Go push against your union then. It's your union. It's your union. It's like, oh, well, it first off, Why do we have to parse this out? It's like, well, the teachers aren't cowards. They wanna go back to work. It's your union. Well, then cowards speak up against your union. Talk to your rep. It's it's your union. At this point, you even look, when you've lost Gavin Newsom in the pussy debate, you you're done. Even Gavin Newson. The biggest pussy of all is saying, get back to the biggest pussy of all, is saying get back to work. That's the CDC, that's the WHO, that's Gavin Newsom, that's Fauci, that's 1, says, get the fuck back to work. It's it's not like we don't have examples. Schools are open worldwide. Worldwide, and in many many other states, get the fuck back to work. And they're thinking it's like, well, we don't like what you call us. Well, sorry, pussy. Stop being pussy. So if don't wanna be called a pussy, get the fuck back work. You're fucking with the kids. That's the whole thing. You're hurting the kids, heroes, heroes, scared heroes. Jesus Christ. Does anyone think about the kids? It's been a year. It's been a year. lot of these kids are never gonna come back from this. Get the fuck back to work. This thing is like, well, what about us? Like, what about our safety? What about Yeah. What about the kids? I thought you got into it to help the kids because you allegedly cared about kids. Yes. It's the union, but it's the teacher's union. And some if there was enough pushback, from the union members, they would reverse the course. If the if the if the members of the union outcry Yeah. Spoke up, then the union the leaders of the union would have to do their bidding. They're not speaking up. They have some things like everyone's gotta be vaccinated. That that's months. We've lost another year. They they have they have all the stuff in place. We know what to do. Go do it. And it's so funny, you know, because this this is a new way any fucking job. Quit then. If you don't wanna do it, you're too big of fucking pussy to go back to work, then quit. Sorry, guys. This is a good this is great news for anyone who's not in who's not a teacher. Because it's like, oh, we should have these vaccinations by April or May. Like, oh, that seems early. The school year's over. Another school year. Yeah. So so much. Yeah. What did matter? I first off, is there any science that going back to the class even causes anything. There's no science to that. There's no spread in the classes. Kids aren't vulnerable. There's nothing that backs up their cowardice. There's no what where are the teachers that died? The the whole rest of the country is open. Where where are they? Where the kids, where the teachers, where's the body count, where the statistics. They don't have any statistics. They wanna go back to fucking work. And my thing is if you don't like being called cowards, then don't act like a coward. Or you shall be called a coward. Now 1 else is a pussy because they pretend they pretend like teachers do things, but they don't really care about teachers. Everyone just wants to be on the happy side, all the shit. But I got some tweets from the teachers union. Yeah. They have an official homepage or something. Yeah, they have, they have a key, they have social They have they have social accounts. And this is in your response to your tweet, which I'll just we'll just quote it here. Does the official teacher union account exist for? Well, what what is it? Supposed to do a Cypress. See, what's coming in, Adam? Gotta settle the hash. Of c list, comedian. Well, Adam tweet was LA teachers either don't want to go back to work or are cowards. Those are the only two options left. At this this point, those are the only two options left. Every Look, I it doesn't and it's not even a left right thing anymore. The Fauci's and the Gavin Newsom's are saying get back to work. So what is it? Alright. Go ahead. All right. So what they did is they shared a picture of tax and I saw this picture going around it's of your profile picture on So what they did is they shared a picture of text and I saw this picture going around. It's a viewer profile picture on Twitter and it says entitlement alert Adam Corolla calls Los Angeles teachers cowards from his new seven point three million dollar mansion in Lakinada. Well, first off, that makes me smarter than you Imbeciles because I got a mansion. So that's number one. I'm smarter than you guys. Thank you. Okay. And then they they've sent a few tweets out using that same picture. One of the tweets says, teachers are working at them Corolla. But congrats on being spared devastation our communities face. The communities we serve have COVID-nineteen levels, fifteen times greater than those in your wealthy lock in yada neighborhood. Yeah. That's why I moved, bitch. What does the value of your home have to do with you calling them cowards. I mean, you can certainly take issue. Well, you call them cowards, but that's a weird You gotta you gotta make a decision these days when you disagree with someone. Like, do we play the race card or do we play the affluent card? Those your two choices. When you go against somebody, you either have to call them something and it has something to do with being racist or something to do with being rich. Mhmm. That's the new angle. The new angle is like, you've got money. You live in a expensive house. Yes. What do you know? What do I know? Here's another tweet they sent along with that same picture. Who is the coward? The teachers who dare confront government officials in powerful business to fight for the health of their students and families or you who sit safely and you're locking you out mansion criticizing what apparently you don't even understand -- Oh. -- teachers are working. Alright. Their idea being that you're hold up safely in your mansion. Alright. They know you very well. I asked RB. I'll be in Oklahoma City doing two shows Friday, two shows Saturday. This weekend. Get jealous of that cushy southwest flight either. Yes. I know. They just it's it's this elitism thing that's like, oh, you have money, so I'm gonna try to shame you. Because see, What works on everyone now is you just tell them they have money and then everyone backs off or you call them a racist and they back off. I have the flaw in that and the, in the, in the attacking the elitists or, or the elitism is everyone's unless you're in a private school, I guess, but everyone's kids are affected by this With the flaw in the in the in the attacking the elitist or or the elitism is everyone's unless you guys are private school, I guess, but everyone's kids are affected by this regardless. Yes. Well, thanks. First off. I'm literally a I'm literally a millionaire. No thanks to LA Unified. No fucking. Thanks, Ellie. You know what I mean? Before I die without Yes. You guys failed me horribly. We got more responses. Yes. And then anybody who defended you in that tweet thread. They would just post more pictures of text. This one says, in the communities we serve, eighty percent of families live in poverty. More than eighty percent of families are and Latino, and the rates of COVID infection are significantly higher. And they keep punching the fact that most of their kids are black and Latinos. well. okay. Well, they're good. They're working the race angle. Thank God. Alright. So the black and the Latinos can languish in their crappy apartments. While you guys hammer checks. Thank you, heroes. This thing of, like, we're pushing back against who are they pushing back against the build companies of me, but it's like big business -- Right. -- and government. -- government. Yeah. The government is your government. It's the guy you gave all the money to. Gavin knew some wanting you to get back to work. That's that's your guy. You're not Trump's gone. It's Gavin Newsom now. And by And while and while this statistics about the the the impoverished children they serve are are, I guess, important. It doesn't feel germane to what's what did the interaction between you and them. Yeah. Yeah. It's not left field. Well, they're not first off, they don't have a ton of logic. That's why they've decided to be LA Unified SchoolTeachers. And none of these guys are from the speech and debate team evidently. I corrected them. I wrote back I did not write that for my seven point three million dollars lock in Yada mansion. I wrote that for my mansion in Malibu. So Oh, boy. Yeah. Right. You want clarity? Yeah. Right. I was the accurate. I did deliver that from my mansion in Malabas. So just just just for clarity, Ella unified. Alright. I'm listen. Here's the whole thing. Nobody likes me anyway, so I don't give a fuck. So get the fuck back to work. It's a few Free. You're free to be honest. I guess, I'm free. I'm free. And I'll send you, I'll send you that five send you I'll send you that five bucks. I shouldn't have guessed it out, but it'd be conciliatory. Walk back his stance. I was foolish. Oh, then Well, the the the thing Why did I take that bad? Look, as far as I can tell, the only way they're not going back to work, look, I think we've all seen over the last year or more that a a drive, a notion, a a movement can change things. And if if we could rally the parents and the people of Los Angeles to start putting pressure on the teacher's unions, 1 they get very unpopular and they get on sort of the losing side of public opinion and social media, And if we could get a few notable people to come out of the woodwork and go against them, then they would feel pressured and they would take like any industry, any business, any anybody who's who's basically running. And so what they do is they hide under this veil of were teachers and were were heroes and no one will fuck with us because we're sacred cows. But if enough people piped up, we could put pressure on them and they would go back to work. Bauchner: You know, what's interesting about know what's interesting about that? We always talk about it. Everybody always talks about it from the top down So, you know, why doesn't Newsome say something? Why does Garceti say something? Why doesn't Biden say something? But you're right. Because first of all, they don't wanna not get reelected. So it comes to love. So when you go from the bottom up -- Mhmm. -- people part of that union putting pressure on the people that represent them, that makes sense. I don't know why we're constantly looking at it from the other way around. And we talk about optics a lot, but isn't the really bad optics for the union to be what we suspect using let let's just have the kids as pawns, basically, to get a better deal or to bet get I don't know what, better CPU Huna or a CBA. Sorry. CBA, like, They're essentially using these kids like PoNS. Yeah. They don't care about kids. If they did, they'd be back to work. I mean, look. Also, you know, there are many places where they never closed the schools. There's just many places in Europe and places in the United States where if they did close and they closing for ten minutes. They've been up for months and months and months. Months and months. We have all the data we need because every other school system has been open ostensibly except for LA Unified. So Let's get back to work heroes. Can I say one more thing to your point? The other thing that's been going around is the new variant. There's a new variant or a couple new variants. They're not here, but what if they come here? So that's isn't that kind of proving the point that things as they are right now are safe? Because we're not really talking about what's safe. Now we're talking about what might not be We're talking about what might not be safe next. I a good good point. And here's a little thought experiment belly unified school teachers and unions. About ten minutes ago, Trump was saying we're gonna get a vaccine. And everyone was saying no way. It's It's years. It's years. It is no way. They've never developed a vaccine faster than four years, you know, and then Trump was like, we're gonna have one by Christmas. You know, this is this is in October or something or maybe further back than that. And everyone is going now it's two And everyone is going, now, it's two years. It's two years minimum to to create a vaccine. Yeah. Okay. Well, what if we didn't have a vaccine? What if It was as the experts said, if you go back six or eight months ago, many experts were saying this is a two year process or this is a three year process. Alright. So LA here's my thought experiment, LA Unified Teachers. You're not going back without a vaccine. What if we didn't have a vaccine for two years? Than what? Well, because the criteria is you need to get vaccine. So what if we didn't invent a vaccine? Everyone thought it was gonna take three So what if we didn't have one? Would you just never go back to work? I'll let you criteria'd be yours? Yes. I'll let you guys think about that. Alright. Anyway, listen. I don't give two shits about to yell a unified school district. They're fucking horrible. And this is the United Teachers Los Angeles. Oh, this is United Teachers. Alright. Alright. Get the fuck back to work, so it says me. Speaking of which? Yes. You better not have run out of time to talk about fine arts day with daughter. Oh, yeah. I did school. It did fine arts Although, I don't know what it was connected to. I don't know either I just saw picture that Lynette posted like, what the hell is this? This is we had fine arts day, which is I'm not gonna tell you which is whose or whose is what's, but I haven't I haven't painted anything that wasn't, you know, fascia or a deck or railing in probably since I was in high school, So the wave It's like like a paint and sip without the wine. Yeah. It's like a father, daughter, Zoom. Couple other father daughters on there. One woman runs the class. She's got the computer. She's Just through school or is this extracurricular? Is this some sort of I think it's extracurricular as far as I can tell. I didn't I don't sweat the details if you know. I'm I just say where where do you want me? What are we doing? No. That question was for Chris. So I just showed up and the the tally got the paints and got the little canvas. The canvas were these little stretch boards are probably twelve by eighteen or twelve by sixteen or something like that. And we just sat around the living room table and then the woman who runs the Zoomart thing sort of says, alright, here's the brushes you're gonna need and you're gonna need some water and you're gonna need this and you're gonna need that and here's where we're gonna start. Here's what it's supposed to look like. And then you take it, like, piece by piece with her telling you how to do it. Yeah. That's like a little trees. Pain everything blue. So you paint everything blue and you know, it's funny all along the way she just keeps going. It doesn't really matter what direction you go and it doesn't really matter and it doesn't really matter and it's okay if you do this and it's okay if you spill that or do that or it doesn't really matter. Yeah. But at the end, you're stuff looks like shit if it doesn't really matter all along the way. Like, at some point, it has to matter sweetheart. It should say it's like, no. There's no right. There's no wrong. Oh, there's a right and wrong. She -- No matter to her. She's taught it right. -- spoken like a teacher who's seen people mentally break the fuck down during these classes. Oh, god. I'm sure of it. Cheers. The only good part of the whole experience was Natalia was seeing what her friends were doing, and it looked equally shittiest what I was doing. So I felt I felt bad. I'm trying to think I I have a I think I know which one is yours. Well, first yeah. There's two that are about the same where they were painting the northern lot Whites, essentially. Ah, yes. The Aurora Borealis. Yes. We we got on the right looks more sophisticated Todays for that reason, I'll say this to tell you. That's interesting. I thought the one on the right looked more kind of like, black and white thinking, like, these are what trees look like, and this is what a big swath of light looks like. Well, can you maybe pull up tighter, maxi pata? I don't know if you can you can do that or The one on the left and this is a compliment to both of you. No. Depending on who's it is, has more of a girlish whimsy Mhmm. So I can say that yours is on the right. Well, Brian has me on the right. We'll put these up at Amazon. This is the one with the what the big wide white swath. Is that the one you're talking about, Brian? I have Intelie on the right. The tag's on the right, and She's just guessing you're on the right? Yeah. Okay. I'm on the left. So Natalia is on the right. There you go. I'm such a garish whimsy about your tree. I was just I was I was thinking of me day. I just kinda feeling pretty. Oh, man. You got my stippling on? Yeah. You got my stippling on. So Look at those dreamy branches. I know we're just sitting there and that she was the lady instructor was putting us through our paces and we're getting our pain on. Like I said, you know, this, this will fall under the heading of stuff you would never think to do or initiate yourself, but it's good for like I said, you know, this this will fall under the heading of stuff you would never think to do or initiate yourself. Mhmm. But it's good for you. Like, you're just sitting there. You got the paint. When's the last time anyone painted anything in earnest? Like, I would have paintbrush. Like, try to paint a picture. I haven't done that since I was in high school. The only time I've done this is at a bachelorette party where this was the the activity. So I'm with you. Covering up hole in the wall. Right. I told the for me. Yeah. I told Natalia I was a I was a art major in high school. And she's like, what? I'm like and I was like, I was a ceramics major and she's like, that's not art. Oh, how dare you? That's what I said. How dare you? Take it up to me more. Why not? That's right. I know. So there it is. We'll put that up at m carl dot com. But it was it was nice. It's it's sitting in painting. And where will those be displayed? And will you have new track lighting put in to highlight it? Well, they definitely gotta go on the refrigerator. That's the way I'm that's the way refrigerator. It's fine. Yeah. It's refrigerator. It's it's kid art Kid Art goes on the refrigerator. Dawson ran into Karen, so says he. Yeah. On Thursday, I was working in my backyard and and, you know, I've been working with your guys over there and they tore out defense that separates my driveway from my backyard. So I have a rod iron gate that I keep locked but my dogs can get right up to the sidewalk. And the dog that was formerly known as the champ, now barely a contender. He has a nasty habit of of running up on people and doing a lot of barking. And it's a little embarrassing and especially now that there's no fence between the driveway and the gate. It happens quite often when people are walking their dogs on the sidewalk. Usually, it's not a big deal. I run over there. I say, I'm sorry about that. Dogs being dogs, you know, he's just protecting his property. Most people are Cool with it. Most some people give me a weird look. And this first time, this lady engaged me. So I went over there and I said, hey, sorry about that. You know, he's just he's just being a dog. I I hope it didn't scare you. She stands with her dog right at my fence while my dog is barking and starts yelling at me. Asking me why I'm not telling my dog to be quiet. Then she says, that if if my dog got out, her dog would kick my dog's ass. Yes. That's what I'm calling. My dog That not necessarily. Wow. And and, you know, at first, I was I I had apologized. I said, I'm sorry, but now she's gonna take it in a whole another direction. So I'm just like, lady, just get out of here. I'm not talking to you. Right? Just take a hike. So it doesn't show you the information. There is a fence. The fact that Yes. Yes. There there's a there's a rod iron gate that's separating everything. Everybody is safe and and contained. And She's out of line. And she I I say, beat it lady. I'm done with you. Get out of here. And she goes, you get out of here. I'm 1. I'm like, lady, I live here. And she goes, I live here too. I Okay. I've been here three I've been here three years. I've never seen you, but I just I just kinda throw up my hands and I I tell champ. Good boy champ. And I and I go back to working in the yard, while this lady essentially is trying to instigate my dog getting to a fight, with her dog. She's like, look at my dog. I can walk my dog around. My dog is calm. I'm like, lady, I when I walk my dog, he does the same thing. You're on the border of my dog's property. You're a threat. I think that's pretty common for a dog to go nuts when another dog is right outside sense. My dog does it. I have plenty of neighborhood todays. It's a thing. And when you walk your dog around the neighborhood where you know dogs are going to do this, I always cross the street to mitigate any barking problems because I'm a respectful neighbor. Speaking of me. Well, just white. You would just 1. Yes. Right. But Dawson, you still need to get a grand Turino and park it. I don't even feel You may that's where this is all going. Yeah. Be friend the Asian boy. Your house is down. Come on. This I I would imagine. Now this woman looked about this woman looked about seventy. She had major major plastic surgery. I see. Her lips were huge. And I think she was Armenian Yeah. But my whole neighborhoods are meaning and we all love each other. That's I don't Well, Well, this, this begs this question because I, I had a Karen, I got a Karen this This begs this question because I I had a Karen. I got a Karen story in my self. Just one of 120 ways to please a man take one of one hundred twenty is to please a man. Take notes. Now back to the Autumn Corolla Show. Yeah. I had a minor Karen story from couple back that involved driving. Can we should here's something we should all tell our children. As you travel through this thing called life, there's gonna be people with dogs and dogs are gonna do things, sometimes they're gonna run up to you, sometimes they're gonna bark, sometimes they're gonna act weird. Don't be that put off by it. Right. You know, a bit of back. Like, this seems like, who what's going on? It's like it's a dog, and then the dog lives here. And some dogs wag their tails and some dogs bark and some dogs do sort of something in between. That's not be so don't be confused or befunnel. People have dogs. That's fair. They have different temperaments. You know, the people that are, like, you're with your dog and it's, like, trying to run up to the other dog or something. And people are, like, almost confused. Like, what's going on? It's a it's a dog. Dog say hi to other dogs. We took Charlie on his walk today into the neighborhood about four or five times, dogs inside the house or the fence or the yard or whatever. Wet nuts because they're excited, they're protective, whatever. That's what dogs do. They're inside that's why they're inside a fence. So make them not attack your dog. Most of my neighbors, and it is embarrassing. You know, the the dogs scares people. I get it. And I say I'm sorry, most neighbors go, hey, that's a dog doing what he's supposed to do. Apologize to me. I'm like, I love you. Thanks, Powell. The The other thing I'm going to tell my children is when you're driving, sometimes people cut in front of you or they don't see you, or they're attempting to do other thing I'm gonna tell my children is, when you're driving, sometimes people cut in front of you or they don't see you or they're attempting to do something. Don't be confused or befuddled. was I was pulling on to PCH a few days ago, and I was turning left. And it so happened You know, certain things about driving or kind of timing, which is most of the cars are just going down PCH, one direct or the other. So have to kind of look to the left. Is anyone coming? If no one's coming, you can start. But every once in a blue moon, someone will be turning onto the street you're turning off of. They're slowing down and they're turning. Now meanwhile, you're looking to the left to make sure no cars are coming. No cars are coming. So you start heading out and then you look to your right and see someone is slowing down and actually turning into the street you're leaving from. This woman gave me the what's what what is this? What's going What what's going on? Like, what's the meaning? It's like, sir, I am smiling in the air. It's like, I'm pulling out onto a highway. I'm looking to the left because that's where the cars are coming from. I I guess what? I saw you. I didn't hit you. I I saw you. You're you, by the way, are doing a weird move where you're coming down PCH and turning on to a side street. So you gotta cut me a little grace here and our cars never came closer than fourteen feet. What what is the problem. She just, like, held it. Like, what what's going on? Like, hands in there, like, what what's happening? Is it let me tell you what's happening, bitch. Other people are driving. This is some context. Why are you confused by this? Why is it so off putting? Like, oh, but it's like, It's perfect context. I'm pulling out. I'm looking to left. PCH cars are going sixty miles an hour. You wanna make sure you look to the left. If you can get No one's coming to left. You can kinda zip her in -- Yep. -- with with the traffic. But if someone is turning left onto the street, I'm I'm I'll see them, but won't see them until I'm done making sure no one's coming from the left. That's what should there's a context here. You're pulling into this weird side street and I'm pulling out. You could say, well, there's a little bit of timing I mean, we've all had that thing where it's like, you know, that move where there's like a pedestrian and you're looking to the right and the pedestrian coming the other direction, and now it's clear, and you start to move. And I give you walk. It's like, it's just a timing it's like it's just a timing thing -- Yep. -- just a timing. Nothing personal. But but those interactions are a gift to people like that. That's how they look at it. Feet as fuel. They love it. They love rivling in it. And and the one that the one that I encounter all the time because I look off of the main street. And I'm sure you guys know this. You've I'm sure you've encountered this a million times. I fucking hate when you're turning either way. Off of the main street, right, or left, and the cars can park on the main streets. So it really obstructed your vision. You can't see this from the bottom. Yes. So you and Choud but there's another four feet in front of me until I arrive and have eyeballs and can see -- Right. -- you could see -- You can see them in your car. And then they lay on their horn like I'm trying to kill somebody and it happens to me every day. III completely agree Also, this woman gave the, what the hell, like, hands in the air? And then I do what I always do, which is to wave. Like, sorry. Like, I I didn't see you. And then they come back with what's going? What's the meaning? It's like, you're doubling down on the hands and the air. Acknowledge them. And given the air to their fire, and given the of fire air to their fire. With how confusing is life for you? Like, don't you feel like that's one big all life is is you trying to make your way through something while guess what? Other people trying to make their way through stuff. And every once in a while, somebody comes close to you. Elevator door opens. She steps out, guys. What's the meaning of this? Not that I wish this upon that I wish this upon anybody, but imagine if this woman was ever raped while jogging. Can you imagine her? She'd be like, what? What? What is going on? This is this is an outrage. I'm on her side now. Well, I'm just saying if she could be that upset by me driving my car. Imagine you're never a victim of violent crime. Alright. So so whenever this happens to me, I I have a move. I it might be enforcing some racial stereotypes. I don't know. But it used to be I used to just give the thumbs up or smile as like because it would make them even more mad. But now what I've been doing is I've been leading my head forward squinting my eyes and trying to look as Asian as possible. Right. Wow. I know. And then I look at them and they just do like the, oh, of course, and they just go. And they never then it's over. It's over in second. You are setting a whole people back. I I know. That's really has gotten me out of a lot of of a lot of confrontation. A lot of jams. Give me some of those glasses Jerry Lewis wore in this Yeah. -- in the sixties movies, so I can see if I can pull this one off. Yeah. The ones for breakfast tiffany. That's exactly right. Was that Jerry Lewis? No. No. That was what's his fault? Girl. Now Another one. Rooney. Yeah. Mickey Roney. Mickey Roney? That's it. Alright. I had a so the crow lady we got the story. The crow lady's has some anxiety. So she's not coming on. But yeah. I want you to, the crows gave her a want you to The crows gave her a look. She knew. We'll tell you the story max max valve by a few seconds because I just wrote down Dennis Cole, the actor. I was I was watching Charlie Charles Dennis Cole, the actor. Who is that? He He was this actor who looked like a Kendall. Like, he was beach beach. He was the beach blonde, you know, he was the beach blonde, you know, dimples and this -- Just just just -- handsome square cut fella area. Arian type. And he was so it's like so here's a weird little game to play, everyone. So you watch Charlie's angels. Hey, you don't have to watch Charlie's angels. You could watch the bionic woman. If you want, or the six million dollar man or a loveboat, any of the classics. You watch it. Right? Cannon. And when you see this guy, he's at the height of his powers. Right? Because you're seeing Dennis Cole at age thirty three, he ends up marrying Jacqueline Smith. Right? Right. So look, I I don't know how much higher flying you can be than marrying arguably the hottest of the angels of of Charlie's angels. I mean, if you marry one of Charlie's angels while Charlie's angels on, you're at the fucking height of your powers. Right? Right. So I'm always like, what happened with these guys? So just a little just life, everybody, which is this guy Dennis Cole great looking guy comes out here, does a guest arc on Charlie's angels, proudly meets Jack and Smith and then starts dating the hottest woman on the planet, and then marry her. As you read on, so you read on with these guys. So you're watching them in nineteen eighty one. You know what I mean? And you're like, you are at the height of your powers right And you're like, you are at the height of your powers right now. Best looking guy on the planet who married best looking woman on the planet, but how did it work after that? You know? Mhmm. So I was reading about him. He did do the love boat. He'd kinda make the rounds. He didn't see his seventieth birthday. I think he died at sixty nine. Like kidney failure or something. So number one is like, well, he's dead. So it's not going that good. Number two, you know, he didn't he didn't he didn't he didn't get to Russia and Bob's age. And then it's like, that has marriage with Jacqueline Smith lasted for three years. So it's like, alright. Then you keep reading. It's like, his son was murdered and it was never solved. Jesus. Like, what? So you're sitting around going on. This guy's got the world by the tail. Right. Is I guess his only son was murdered. And, like, in Hollywood and unsolved. A Venice, actually. A Venice, California -- Yeah. -- never solved. Like, home invasion, whatever. Then you go, alright. So -- Mhmm. -- I don't know. Was he blessed? I mean, he looked pretty damn good, but sun was murdered, and it was never soft. And he's dead. And so I was his son and Jacklyn's that's still going good, though. With this real world, let's just say story, Maxapata. Is that right? The center Yeah. How was the son? It was like 19 or Was he nineteen or something? Joe or his son Joe was thirty. Oh, thirty. Yeah. So him and Henry Rollins were assaulted by armed robbers outside there. Henry Rollins? Yeah. They shared they shared a home. He was yeah. He was a He was like a a roadie. Wow. Yeah. He was a rookie for black fit for for black flats on the Rowan's foot band. So Wow. Yeah. So Cole his name is Joe Cool. So Joe and Henry were assaulted in outside the shared home in Venice Beach. They attended a whole concert at the Whiskey at Gogo and the returning home after having stopped at an all night grocery store, two armed men described as black and in their twenties approach them demanding money. The guys only had fifty bucks between them. The gunmen ordered the two men to go inside their house for more Roland's entered at gunpoint. However, Kohl's killed outside after being shot in the face at close range, while Rollins escaped out the back door and alerted the police. Murder mason solved. What year was that? Ninety one. December ninety one. Yeah. And I missed the whole Henry Rollins part of that that story. They went to a hunt hunt for a hole the bank -- Yeah. -- called the whiskey. Yeah. In nineteen ninety one, they were out of the curve. Yeah. Well, that's that's why they were at the whiskey and not at stable center. Wow. Yeah. So in an interview in ninety two, Roland's revealed that he kept a plastic container full of soil soaked with Cole's blood. Oh, she's nice. Yeah. It's Rollins. Isn't it? Rollins? Rollins. Yeah. Wow. Alright. So anyway, have fun, have a Scotch, watch the Love Boat, or Charlie's Angels, and see how it panned out for a lot of the guest actors on that show. And then so he he died. The actor died in Dennis Cole probably made it to, like, two thousand and nine or something like that. Yeah. So that's almost twenty years with your son's murder unsolved. That's got to be a pretty crappy -- Yeah. -- final eighteen, nineteen years on planet. All So you got the you got the crow story. Sorry, Jonathan. Yeah. The headline is. I accidentally created an army of crow bodyguard. Am I liable if my murder attempts murder? To make a long story short, I'm the late judge Joe Cole. And Henry Rollins wish they had to fucking crows up on that Venice Beach cottage drive. Yeah. On I'm a late 20 something living in Portland, late twenty something living in Portland, Oregon. I had a pretty intense emo goth phase as a tween that I thought I had grown up. And I say this, who are the people that shoot people in the face after they come up let me go. You got cash. It's like, no. Okay. I shall shoot you on your face. Like, this it hardly seems fair. It really doesn't like, how much profitable? What do you think? I have twenty eight hundred dollars in my back pocket. Like, how much money would you have on you at any given time? Is it over under thirty one dollars? It's high risk global world. I know. Jesus Christ. Alright. Sorry. A couple of months ago, I was watching a nature program on our local station about crows. The program mentioned that if you feed them and befriend them, Croes will bring you small gifts. My emo phase came back full force and I figured, I was furloughed and had lots of time, so why not make some crew friends. My plan worked a little too well, and the resident five crows in my neighborhood have turned into an army fifteen strong. At first, my neighbors didn't mind and enjoyed it. They're mostly elderly. And most were in a in a bird watching club anyway. They thought the fact that I had crows following me around whenever I go outside was funny. Lately, the crows have started defending me. My neighbor came over for socially distance chat, me on the porch, her in her yard, her in my yard, and the crows started dive bombing her. Good. Anyone who goes to visit someone and stands out in the deserves to be dive bound by crow. They would not stop until she left my yard. They didn't make physical contact with her, but they got very close. Am I liable if these crows injure someone since I fed them? I obviously can't control the crows. I would rather than not attack my neighbors. But since I technically created this nuisance, could I be financially on the hook for any injuries? To be clear, they're not aggressive one hundred percent of the time. If just the neighbors are out, they're friendly, normal crows. They only get aggressive when someone comes close to me or my property. Or Amazon guy. That was a few months ago. Here's the update. So to make a long story short, I called our local audibond society. They didn't think feeding the crows was bad and suggested that the neighbors also start feeding them, so they essentially became better socialized. The plan worked, and the crows are now a beloved part of the community. They have no recent dive bombings. Most amazingly, The crows may have legitimately saved my neighbor. Our city had gotten pretty big ice and snow event recently, like I said in my last post, Most of the neighbors are older. One of my neighbors was walking down his steep driveway, slipped and couldn't get back up. The crows started going ballistic and making more noise than we have ever heard. A different neighbor. Went outside to see what was up went outside to see what was up, found the gentleman in his driveway. Neighbor is mostly okay just some serious bruises. Needless to say, the crows have been getting some high value food since then, Thanks for all the help on my original post. It blew up way more than I was expecting, and I thought you guys would enjoy an update. Well, Crows, and then I think doctor Drew tweeted me a couple days back saying that the dogs are now sniffing cancer. Have trained the dogs, sniff cancer. This all What a world's All the stuff I've been talking about. Was that a wizard of ours? Reference? No. I'm I'm trying to be alive. I know. I'm just picturing the monkeys flying around. Yes. Well, That's bit of a idea reference. Yeah. I've you know, here's the thing. Pros are gonna start being used for security and dogs aren't gonna start sniffing cancer and it's and it's it's already it's already on. Let's see. Aaron is kinda drunk. Mhmm. What I'm on? Alright. He's kinda drunk online for Aaron thirty seven, Tennessee. Hey. What's up, Adam? How are you doing, man? Hey, man. What's happening? Oh, I was just calling in was just calling in, dude, I had a random tweet, and I saw it. And I was like, dude, I have never actually had an opportunity to call these guys. So I thought I would. Kevin noted that I've been drinking a little bit, but it'd be fun to talk to basically one of my heroes. Somebody I quote, constantly throughout my entire life to all my friends, man. So thanks for your wisdom. Thank you. What have you been drinking? Yeah. We we guess. You're drunk in Tennessee, and I love this with a sour mash. I'm staying on theme. I'm going to Old Crow. God bloody Mary's. Dang, dude. So I've had a little bit of a concomitant, but that's not even a word. Jesus. It should say that though. Basically The fact that you knew that's so fun. It could signer. Well, I like to mix. Sorry about that. What was that? Brian? No. Go ahead, man. You're you're good. Okay. So I like to mix white cloth basically with vodka. So it lowers the carbs even more. But then -- Sure. -- I I love whiskey. My wife hate it. So I saved the whiskey nights for the nights that I know I'm not getting any nookie if you understand. Mhmm. I don't get He's got the she's got the pillow on the bed. On one side says not tonight, and then on the other side says not tonight. That's why she puts that out. It's sort of A loaded diet. Exactly. Exactly. After four kids, that's all you have. The diets that rolls the Aces every time. How many of those kids are whiskey kids? Actually, both my boys. They love whiskey. My daughter hates alcohol My daughter hates alcohol. Altogether. I'm at work. Senior court with CPS. Yeah. How old the how old are the boys? So Goodness gracious. I'm not gonna do math. So they were I don't know if you have to do math in zero. Just know it. I've asked you how many months they've been on the planet. Gotcha. Okay. That's where the mask comes. Five years five years and two. Okay. Adam, he didn't he didn't know his age when we screamed the call. We told him, thirty six or thirty seven. Dude, sure. Okay. I literally just had a birthday. I don't care about my age. Hitler had a birthday. They don't matter. Right? Oh, yeah. By the way, that's it's coming you know, stop escalating the place. I forgot about Yeah. Fourteen eighty four. Fourteen eighty four. Oh, okay. Alright. Well, Aaron, thanks for calling. Thanks for the compliment. Oh, jeez. Oh, sorry. Okay. Adam, I actually had a real question for you and a real comment. Oh, tomorrow's our birthday. Tomorrow's our twelve year anniversary. Solely, solely. So it says some expat. Then it's great. Yeah. Old enough for Aaron to give a shot at me. That's right. Hm. I, I I I know. Sorry for wasting your time with the time. Just go ahead. I've actually thought many times about everything I would want to talk to you guys if I ever had a chance. But Dr. Jude is constantly wondering how have you guys changed just something for you to think about is you've been asking Drew if he's ever watched the Shining. Sorry. I listened to a love line from Giovanni from thirty years ago, and you're constantly asking him, have you ever watched the Shining? I'd be curious, has he actually watched the shining in the last thirty years. That's something that's pretty crazy. The other thing is, he's wondering if you guys have ever changed You got rid of me. Yeah. No. You're go there. Go ahead. Oh, alright. Well, he's he's always wondering if you've if you've ever changed. Well, now Drew's kinda turned into like a sixteen year old that watches all these crazy little like tween or bopping shows and he's never watched the Shining. And you're the only one that watches documentaries where if you can remember thirty years ago, you used to watch. I mean, your whole stick was masturbating and watching TV. Right? Now Well, I am back with Charlie saying I'm watching Starsky and Hutch and watching the $6 million I am back with your understanding. I'm watching stars game hutch. I'm watching the six million dollar man. Somebody thanks, Erin. Gina, this is gonna give some clarity, but also should upset you more. Yeah. Somebody tweeted me that the beginning of the bionic woman, which was completely mailed in after the extravaganza of the opening sequence of the six million dollar man. The biotic woman is like some sort of low budget afterthought. When she's doing leg lifts with a phone book on her feet Yeah. She's doing a leg lift with twenty pounds on a legged extensions. And then somebody said to me, oh, that's from the episode where she was introduced to the Bionic Man or something. And that was during her rehab. That's why the weight was so light. And I was like, well, even worse, they just took like stock footage from another episode instead of shooting their own opening. That makes it so the only way they could even remotely redeem themselves is if this were the kind of show where the narration goes over it. And it's like, and then she was and it's like and then she was rehabbing. Right. But if that is supposed to be the thing that a newness, a new watcher knows about the show that they've never seen the one episode where she's rehabbing her leg, that is fucking insane. Well He's fired up. He is he is so stupid. Season two episode nineteen. They she's just lost two. Full season. Before this was explained? Yeah. Let's see. She's lifting weight because she just surgery and is in rehab. I don't know. It's still bad opening sequence stuff. You'll be happy to know that on the theme of Dennis Cole going on Charlie's angels and getting married to Jacqueline Smith, one of the angels. Before I left, I was watching the episode of the six million dollar man where Farah Fawcett played a news reporter, ended up finding love with Lee Majors. They took off in a Dune buggy, at the end of the at the end of it and Fairfax married Lee Majors as well. Yes. And do you wanna hear another crazy piece of trivia that you may or may not be aware of? Do you know that the song midnight train to Georgia is about Fairfax and Lee Majors. Yeah. Wow. I know. Mostly a a midnight plane to Houston, when she was talking about being with Lee Majors, but it became midnight train to Georgia. I think we got into this. It was written by a friend of his the play like, semi pro football and yes. That I heard this on a Mike Rowe episode of the the way I heard it. We've discussed it on this show. Yeah. For First show of twenty eighteen. No. But the also, it's so insane that he, Lee Majors, lost Fairfax to Ryan O'Neil. Oh, O'Neil. Yeah. Ryan O'Neil was like, the best looking dick dick swing in his coxman of the seventies in in in in that Malibu ever produced. And the notion that Lee majors would take Fairfax in that, like, height of her powers and Ryan O'Neil at the height of his powers and say, Keep an eye on my wife. Take her out. Show her good time. She's gonna get lonely. I'm going to Canada to make a movie. How else would that turn out? Yeah. That's a gift. Yeah. I always wonder when guys do that. Are they saying, I don't wanna be married anywhere? Yeah. Yeah. I'll be a way out. Yeah. Do you think they know you think they know it? That's my little thing. Were they like best friends, Lee and Ryan? I don't know. But the story was, is like Lee majors was married to her and Lee majors had to go film the fall guy or something. And he said, Dick, look after take her out. Show her good idea. Imagine that poor decision, I would say. Yeah. Yeah. Get Dennis Cole. You too that take her out. Show her a good time. But I guess that was it. I guess she just took off with, with rhino Neil after that, by the way, rhino O'Neal is he still alive? I guess he'd like, here's one. He was so old school that he'd get like, you know, the old, super old school Hollywood guys who would get in fist fights with their adult sons, like throw down, like literally throw down with adult sons. Like I, we w we shall Duke it out now adults with our fists, our differences. Yes. And that's a good example of if I'm remembering this correctly, physically abused the sons emotionally and mentally abused. The daughter don't show up when she gets her Oscar for a movie you did together. Tatum O'Neal paper, moon. Yeah. A boy is anyone. Is anyone have a good life anymore? All right. Yeah. He's 79 years. Young Farrah was, I guess the love of his life. Mary. This is the other example of married twice non consecutively to Vera faucet from 79 to 97. Then again from Oh one Oh nine. What she Does. That's so strange when that happens. All right. We got the rotten tomatoes game to play first. I'll tell you about Geico. Do you own, do you rent your home? Well, you do one or the other.
