You know the feeling of putting off something...you've got a million reasons (cue Lady Gaga). This episode is about taking action in micro ways to help get your macro results. And remember, messy...imperfect...bold...it's better than none at all.

Here's some things you can start doing today to take that bold, messy, imperfect action:

  1. Start small - choose things that you can accomplish quickly to start momentum
  2. Have accountability
  3. Schedule blocks of time - season 1, episode 9 and season 2, episode 6
  4. Stay off social media & decide who's opinion matters most
  5. Mantras & Journaling

Journal prompts

  • What is the worst thing that can happen?
  • What's the best thing that could happen?
  • What's the most realistic result of my actions?
  • What am I feeling right now about these actions?

Mantras:

  • I take bold, imperfect action.
  • I am getting better every day.
  • I attach myself to the outcome of done, over perfect.
  • I am taking aligned action towards my dreams.

Quotes

You have to believe beyond our current circumstances. Brooke Castillo says,

"When you think big for yourself and when you believe in that dream, it requires the skill of believing in yourself. It requires the skill in believing in possibility and believing in things beyond our current situation and beyond our current programming ...it requires effort and requires skill. The better we get at believing things that are not yet true, the better we get at believing things that are not yet true.“

“If the first thing you do in the morning is to eat the frog, then you can continue your day with the satisfaction of knowing that this is probably the worst thing that will happen to you all day” - Mark Twain

"When you're not spending any time worrying, you're spending time executing." - Gary Vee
