On today's episode, Pamela and I discuss the necessity of individualization when it comes to tailoring a plan to meet and achieve health-related goals and activities.

We start by detailing what we mean by individualization. Better Self tailors nutrition, fitness, and mindset plans to the individuals that we're working with. We like to take people's preferences, constraints, and lifestyles into account when figuring out how to best coach each individual that we're coaching.

It's common for our closest friends and family to suggest we try this diet or that workout plan, but we're not all the same. What works for one person doesn't necessarily mean it will work for EVERYONE. Copy and paste programs don't always work. 

Adherence and sustainability are KEY factors when implementing new healthy habits. We need to take our lifestyle factors into account, so that we don't set ourselves up for failure. Templates are a good place to start, but at some point we have to tweak our plans to fit + support our lives.
