The History show which decided to take the "exhaustive" route.The subject, Great Britain, is both wide and clearly defined. The host makes a great job dealing with the gap in our actual knowledge of some places and chapter of history while managing to make the whole lot sound friendly and understandable. I love little notes of humour like the sheep in the pasture sound or the "Personal Jesus" goth invasions. Great also if you are a fan of The Last Kingdom. :)

Great podcast. Well done and easy to follow. I'm still waiting for the Battle of Britain. Only 350 years to go.

Very, very pleasant to listen to. It's lively, friendly, well documented. And the subjects are of the greatest interest to history buffs.

This is the best history podcast ever. Period. So fun, so entertaining! I just love it!

I do enjoy this Podcast. Jamie has a great story telling voice. I do not appreciate the member only podcasts, I cannot afford a monthly payment just to listen to the finer details that some should have been put in the main podcast. Nor do I enjoy his tangets that I feel get off topic a bit. I also do not like the long analogys he does, and repeats things constantly that I feel he doesn't move forward as it should.

I've been a fan of this podcast from Day One. Jamie is probably one of the most engaging and entertaining posts ever. He's not just passionate and knowledgeable about British history, he's an absolute riot. He's the kind of history teacher many of us wish we had. Somehow he works in Tupac and Athelred and it makes perfect sense.

This is a really educational and entertaining podcast. It is an easy listen and has become my go-to podcast for unwinding.

Along with the History of England podcast, this is one of my favorite histories of the Isles. I'm only sad that this pod doesn't come out daily because Jaime and Z put together a heck of a show that mixes wonderful sound effects, music, and amazing tales from the old history books. Modern and fun version of dusty old history. Amazing

Really good in depth history podcast. Jamie is a superb host, knows his stuff and puts a massive amount of research into each show. Also throws some humour in as well.
