Guy Crittenden spent 25 years writing about environmental issues and solutions, winning more than a dozen awards for his writing, before he made a trip to the Amazon which changed his direction for good. Now, Guy is a freelance writer focusing on cutting through the fluff and corporate funded news to get to real truths - environmentally, culturally and politically.  His recent project is a book called The Year of Drinking Magic, which recounts in detail Crittenden's experiences in Peru and offers readers detailed accounts of each of his shamanic journeys while under the spell of the ancient medicine.
