After a couple of Christian podcasters/bloggers make light of #MeToo and women being abused by telling an off color joke, the need to confront this issue head on is the topic of this podcast. Women are being abused, both in the secular world and within the church. As Christians, we need to take a stand to protect women and victims of abuse. Making light of abuse desensitizes us to the gravity of this situation. Yes, there are some made up stories for attention. But we cannot allow those bad apples to invalidate all of the legitimate claims of abuse. Ultimately, the message that we need to continue to preach is the Gospel, as only that has the power to truly save us.
