How do sum up a man who in his 30 plus year career has sold literally billions of dollars of property.  

You can’t.  

But what you can do is invite him over for a few gins and record an hour of the conversation to hear the golden stories of yesteryear and discuss the future of property with someone who has lived every market cycle in that time.  

Greg Penn is Managing Director at CBRE for Capital Markets, Greater China and Korea but has lived out of Australia for 21 years and been dealing in property from Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, USA and many more.  Greg has had many roles but at the end of the day, what he loves and is good at is large property deals.

I’m used to dealing with private clients who buy $1 to $10 million USD in residential or commercial property for themselves but Greg plays in the $250 million USD or even billion dollar space when dealing with complete hotels, commercial office buildings and the big of end of town.

Greg basically follows the capital and looks where it goes into property around the globe so it’s very interesting to hear his thoughts on where the market is during Covid and where the capital is right now looking for opportunities.
