This is my first review for the JRE, created this account solely for this episode (although I will continue to use it from now on). I personally love the show and even times where I disagree with a point or topic, I enjoy it. I've enjoyed every episode (of varying amounts of course) except this one and I've listened to hundreds. I was actually in a constant state of annoyance throughout this episode. Basically Joe is kinda of anti Vax (again.. kinda) when it comes to the covid vaccine and I agree with some of his points as does Dr. Gupta but Joe asks a million questions, throws out info, etc and when when the Dr goes to answer, he gets cut off or is told to answer in yes or no, etc. I feel like the whole episode is listening to Joe Rogan rant about his issues, without letting the guest actually address them. There was even one part where Joe is referencing a study reported by The Hill and says the same thing like 10 times and every time the Dr tries to answer, he's rudly cut off. What I believe he was trying to say is the study says boys are like 8x more likely to get this disease (myocardosis or something) from the vaccine then to be hospitalized from covid, which may be true and the Dr wasn't arguing that. What I believe he was trying to argue though is that that is comparing apples and oranges. The study didn't say "boys with the vaccine are 8x more likely to develop microwhatever than boys with covid" or "boys are 8x more likely to be hospitalized from the vaccine than covid." Sounds to me like what the Dr was trying to say is yes, maybe that study is true, but what if the study referenced by the Dr about boys being 16x more likely is also just as true, but many of them both vaccinated or who had covid just weren't hospitalized. Overall, love the show but the way Joe was acting in this episode really annoyed me.
Joe filleted this dope like a the pro he is!
