My guest this week is Patrick Hasson.
If you’re not familiar with him, Patrick is a director (Blood Shed, How Hard Could It Be, Fall Back), Airbnb entrepreneur and local artist based in Joshua Tree, California.
When I first met Patrick we talked mostly about our hatred for the New England Patriots.
And cats.
Today, we go much deeper.
Patrick talks about how a LA Times article on Joshua Tree’s music scene changed the trajectory of his life, learning to trust his intuition and discovering the healing powers of art.
His story is very colorful.
Color is his strength. Color is his passion.
Nobody, least of all himself, could have predicted this.
“When you get sober…in a way, it’s like being born again.” ~ Patrick Hasson

Patrick’s upcoming art show DESERT DUDES opens Sept 7th at the Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center from 6-9 PM and will run util Oct 20th.
DESERT DUDES is an artistic tribute to Desert Rock and to the musicians that made it happen. This show is Patricks way of paying respectful homage to his music idols and high desert music scene that ultimately lead him to being a full-time Joshua Tree resident.
Patrick turned darkness into light by using creativity as an instrument for real change.
His message is clear.
Be colorful by being you.
Peace.
