AI is the ability of machines to interpret data, learn from it, and make decisions without direct human input. Emotional intelligence is the capacity for a person to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions as well as the emotions of those around them.
When discussing AI and EI, it’s important to note that they are two separate concepts, but they can work together in harmony. AI is best used for tasks that require information processing, data analysis, and decision making using big data sets. Meanwhile, EI helps humans create meaningful connections with one another and understand the emotional consequences of their actions.
