RATING
Critical Research - Good/great, although I struggle with just how much cannibalism there isTftT seasons 1 & 2 - some great, some poor episodes, some eps I had to skip because I am too squeamishTftT 3 - very good much more solid. The narrow is awesome Sarah Rhea Warner + Fool and scholarVigilance - I cannot imagine why people would listen to live play games, maybe I will try sometime.
A trip into a harsh and unforgiving world filled with all kinds of dangers both known and unknown.
An exiting scifi/horror show with great acting and sound effects.
Very interesting ideas in this one. It shows it's love of a very particular genre.Narrative - mostly interesting, sometimes tedious. 3/5Production quality - This was their first podcast, and it shows. They have remastered it since, which helps 3/5Audio quality - Nice quality recordings, and all quite consistent. 4/5Inclusivity - Weak. The characters are not charicatures, but they dont reflect the diversity of reality. 2/5Voice acting - Some great... some clearly are new to this. 3/5Total: 60%
Fun, exciting stories. Great worldbuilding and the characters (and acting) make for a great show
Amazing and atmospheric sci-fi audio drama.
Liberty takes the best of sci-fi and horror, and throws it into a strange world, with deep lore, and old habits. Liberty's sound design continues to grow, and becomes better with each passing episode. Honestly, you need to listen to this show!
Great writing team, great sound design. Just all around great.
The story is interesting, though the pacing and acting can feel a bit off at times. The characters are a fun mix together, especially when they seem to clash. Overall it's well put together and I look forwarding to seeing where the rest of the story goes.
Seriously this is a great Sci-Fi podcast show. Spectacular story and world development. It will not disappoint. When a new show drops it is the first thing I listen to in my week. What are you doing still reading this review and subscribe and listen for yourself.
Great stories set in a unique sci-fi world!
I listened to the Vigilance :: Entry 9: Old Friends episodes and loved them. The narration was engaging and kept me involved in the story. Some podcasts of this nature (as-live roleplaying) can be a little strung out, Liberty Vigilance isn't (13 episodes).
You like Sci Fi? You like Horror? You like Borderlands or other similar properties set in a colonized future? Liberty is for you! Set on a colony called Atrius many years from now, and lightyears away, we follow them as they learn many things about their world, or simply are telling horror stories on their "broadcasts" Tales from the Tower. Critical Research may be done, but there's so much more to come from these guys!
Critical Research is a great serial set in the world of Atrius in both the city of Atrius and beyond the walls in "The Fringe" which appears to have been inspired by combination of the worlds of Mad Max, Borderlands, and Judge Dredd. Tales From The Tower Is a horror anthology set in the main ciy of Atrius. Excellent productions from all aspects
Really great show! Tales from the Tower is perticularly great
I loved this show, especially the Tales from the Tower. It's too bad it didn't continue for longer than it did.
