Even with the usual twists and turns that you might expect from a thriller about characters with unknown loyalties, there's a surreality to The Loyalists that kept me off balance. The setting's an old hotel with a dysfunctional AI. The area around it is populated with animal hybrids for one of the guests to hunt. And then there's the preternaturally precocious eight year old who is the most intriguing mystery of all.

It took a bit getting in to this show, but once you´ve acquainted yourself with the many diverse characters, it becomes really addicting. Part Star Wars with weird creatures and a bit messy but quite predictable story. Part thriller / murder mystery. Set in an eerie, dystopian, scifi universe where there clearly is much more than meets the eye. The show has great dialogue, interesting characters, good sound design and really fine acting. I´m happy I stayed.

Really entertaining podcast. Good scifi story with entertaining characters and heavy mystery elements.
