Create Your Online Course

There are some great benefits and reasons for creating online courses:

• Be seen as an expert
• Share your knowledge with more people
• Support your exsisting business
• Leverage your time
• Improve your teaching abilities

My first online course was published on the Udemy platform. The name of the course is: Making Better iPhone Videos to Grow Your Wellness Business.

On this episode I share what I learned about creating a course:

• It’s easier than you think
• Create short lessons
• Don’t over think, keep it simple – don’t have to share all you know
• Have your audience in mind: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
  • Speak to that audience
  • Remember, as a expert, you speak a different language than the beginners

Identify 5 topics that you could easily create a course on.

Mine are:

1. Video Production
2. Mindfulness & Meditation
3. Essential Oils – Physical and Emotional Health
4. Minimalism & Essentialism
5. Lego Therapy for Adults

Create your list, choose your favorite topic and make a course. It’s really that easy!

Remember that most people believe that their topic of interest wouldn’t make for a good course or that people already know what you know. That simply is not true! There are people out there just like you, who want to learn what you already know. You are the perfect person to guide them.

The purpose of this broadcast is to share my modalities of wellness and healing, and help build my wellness platform. I’m always looking for ways to use video to grow my own wellness business.

On my first show I talked about the Judger mind vs. the Learner Mind. It was a little rough, I want to be more prepared next time. I also hope I can get better audio and that the Facebook platform will improve.
