“It is never a good idea to run from stuff. It’s a better idea to runs towards things.” – Joe Dehnert
Hey everyone! Welcome to episode eleven of The Modern-Day Superhero Show! In this episode, i sat down with Joseph (Joe) Dehnert, owner of Upstream Endeavors, LLC, a company that provides guided fly-fishing and educational tours in western North Carolina, and senior wilderness therapy field guide at Four Circles Recovery Center, a primary rehabilitation center also in western North Carolina.
This was my favorite interview thus far – it is more or less a fun yet profound conversation between two jovial friends. Joe is charismatic, an eloquent speaker, and an incredibly passionate teacher and student. In this episode, Joe shares how losing his father and dog inspired him to traverse a new path in life (literally), tools he has utilized to cultivate patience and overcome obstacles, how sharing love can help anyone find their purpose in life, and much more!
