In this week's episode, I talk about about Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM). T1DM is where the pancreas isn't producing enough insulin to safely lower your blood glucose levels, causing your body to starve itself and have a dangerous level of glucose in the blood, causing many problems down the line if not managed properly. I talk to my good friend, Corey, and we talk about how he found out he was Type 1 diabetic at the age of 28 years old, how he gets glucose updates on his phone, and also what his favorite snack is for when he gets too low blood glucose levels.
