An excellent introductory to all of the newly released anime shows. The 2 hosts have managed to assemble an interesting formula for anime introductions; 1- Swat Review: A First Impression episode after watching the first and sometimes 2nd episode of a series 2- Case Closed; A Final Impression episode after watching the whole series/season of a selected anime show 3- SpekEasy; A long discussion about anime/manga/video games, and anime conventions. My least favourite type of an episode I’m not a fan of the hosts hosting abilities; Their thoughtful process is all over the place and I don’t think they know how to review anime with critical eye; It’s literally fans fanning over everything. However, I can’t deny that they managed to introduce me to numerous shows through their Swat and Case Closed reviews as I don’t have the time to regularly check for new shows. The podcast has been in hiatus for 3-4 months and it’s highly plausible that the producers will not revive the show unless they want to review the occasional anime otakun
