Tomorrow we welcome the last month of 2020. A very challenging year for many people the single biggest disrupter of our generation.
It has completely rewritten the rules of our world. We have all lost something
Some have lost their near and dear
Others their lively hood
Some others their way of life
And almost everyone their peace of mind
Yes, 2020 has been very different than what most of us would have bargained for.
But as we look back after a few years probably 2020 will be the year we will all remember, really well. For many reasons. Primarily because for almost everyone this is a year which has forced change on us.
This poem by Leslie Dwight places things in perspective:
What if 2020 were the year we’ve been waiting for?
A year so uncomfortable, so painful, so scary, so raw
— that it finally forces us to grow. A year that screams so loud, finally awakening us from our ignorant slumber. A year we finally accept the need for change. Declare change. Work for change. Become the change.
What if,2020 was the most important year of them all.
Only Time will tell.
