Perez' story, much of which is chronicled in his book I Lived To Tell About It, revolves around the amazing power of God in rescuing him out of a life of violence, drugs and rebellion and bringing Joey "into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins" (Colossians 1:13b-14). Since his conversion in 1979, Perez has been used by the Lord as an international speaker, author, and founder & pastor of Worldwide Evangelistic Ministries, Inc & Church.
