Today on the time to talk podcast I am joined by the wonderfully marvelous Tina McGuff. Tina is a published author and active mental health worker, and works as someone actively encouraging vital conversations wherever and whenever she can.
Selfishly I have been really looking forward to this episode - I feel incredibly blessed to have known Tina over the recent years and owe a lot of my own creativity down to her encouragement and belief. She seems an innately positive force and as you’ll see as we discuss our relationship, consistently leaves me with a warm feeling in my stomach.
Tina’s work as a writer and mental health activist has reached and been supported by the likes of Lorraine Kelly, and her work on herself over the years has never ceased to grow, nor inspire.
This episode discusses eating disorders, suicide ideation and addiction.
The book tina mentions can also be found in the description
My Grandmother's Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending
Lots of love to my mentor, you humble and assure me whenever we speak.
Welcome to the time talk podcast, episode 3, with Tina McGuff.
