The Viridian Wild is as sumptuous as its narration & as whimsical as the worlds it describes; & if that isn't enough, it's packed with some of the best fiction podcast voice talent around, & (if you're wearing headphones) you might find yourself believing these creatures close enough to touch... couldn't recommend this show enough !!!

This is a podcast that could be described as the love child between Spiderwick and Black Tape Files!

Whimsical animal planet with fantasy creatures such as dryads, sprites, and other fae. The main character describes the behavior and history behind some fantasy creatures which leads to some entertaining worldbuilding. A greater focus on the main character occurs from the fifth episode onwards. Mostly a fun easy listen, though the more character-focused episodes touch on some heavier subjects.

did not expect The Nygard to pull me in like that well done.

A very interesting podcast. It's like the Animal Channel but for magical creatures. I'm curious to know if there is an overarching plot or if this is episodic. Currently only on ep 3, so will keep going.
